MITCH is about to get 400 + more subs lhe knows us lion fams come in packs 😆!! DETROIT VS EVERYBODY

Very similar journeys for both the Lions and the Browns, Lions fans majority also believe in and pull for Cleveland and vice versa. As a Browns fan I have nothing but love and respect for the Detroit Lions and want to see them succeed, In a perfect world it would be a Browns and Lions Superbowl! Everyone would win in that situation because that would be a game played from the heart on both sides, I can't wait to see what 2024 holds for us NFL fans because I truly believe in both of these teams and it's not just blind wishful thinking because the work is being put in and it's going to show. So many people who call themselves pro analyst will be eating their words after this season. Prepare yourselves for a magical ride in 2024, Last season it was the AFC West and NFC West but this season is for the North. AFC North and NFC North in Superbowl 59.
The last time lions were in the championship game was 1957...vs the browns. So yea that would be sweet
I definitely do. Im not gonna stick up for deshauns choices in life either but it angers me when people try to hold people walking free down. If he did somethjng wrong, take him to court. F the court of public opinion. Go browns. Go lions.
It could happen, Browns are tough. As a Lion's fan it'd be great to see a Lion's/Browns SB.
But only if we win!!!!
As a Lions fan .. When the Lions suck. I am always cheering for the Browns. Love to see a 1957 rematch for a championship.
Browns have no chance against the ravens , they need a qb and another wr
The lions addressed the secondary with free agent signings last year too. Too bad early injuries squashed that idea. Here's to hoping they can all stay healthy this year. 👍
@@WoodyWard i think they definitely went further in addressing that this year specifically at perimeter cb
@@TheBottomLineView Lions defense wasn't even as bad as people made it to be. Lions defense forced teams to be one dimensional.. like you had to throw the ball on Detroit or else you aren't moving the ball. Which means teams are always throwing which also means they had to deal Aiden Hutchinson, the strength of the defense on most plays. Pass rush gets close good play, pass doesn't get home, they get a first down. That's really not that bad especially when you consider they buckled up in the red zone.
If you get 3 and we get 6 then we're gunna win, right?
With better corners, we might see a lot sacks this year though so we'll see
The Year Of The Lion - that was my line last year! Now I change it ... Detroit Dynasty begins NOW
The Lions are going to play more man-to-man defense this year. That was the reason for all of the moves. Davis' numbers playing press are a lot better than his zone numbers.
that would make sense. i think the cbs they brought in though have experience all around. davis is better in man imo.
As a niners fan. I know your right but i refuse bc yes.
As a Lions fan, we would love another shot at the champ(s) of the NFC again this year in the NFC championship game!
I/we honestly believe it’s going to happen (not just homer logic but literal logic and factual reasoning; then we add our self absorbed delusions to that)!
I watch alot of Lions content. First time watching you and very good content my man. Really an excellent job all around. 👍
@@zachmcmillen389 thanks zach! I cover all 32 teams
It would be awesome lions fans need a win
Terrion is a stud if hes as good as advertised I could see them winning a Superbowl
Let's get them likes up for Mitch putting out a good content!
Thanks brother
U welcome sir 😘
Mathiew Betts DE the Canadian Defensive MVP was also signed and is impressing, also Pascal is very underrated because of injury, the pressure from the inside with Reader and McNiel along with better coverage with a true #1 corner that gives the D-line 1/2 second more by himself and depth throughout the secondary will completely change this Defense, they might lead the league in sacks.
Ive heard of him. I’m actually Canadian.
Only place we are weak is FG kicker but Dan will just go for it anyway… Lol. Great video man!!
They might actually be decent there. We'll see how the rookie does. He made multiple 60+ yard FGs and 7 total from 50+ in just 11 games. The Lions have 10 total 50+ yard FGs in the last 4 years. He was also a kickoff specialist in college which could come in handy with the new kickoff rules... Rules that he is already used to from the UFL.
Nope jake bates waa brought in look him up
@@paulmayer8654 That was in front of 9,000 people, not 60,000+… Hopefully he pans out!
@@donbur1553 Lol, I’m in Detroit. I know Jake Bates but he is so unproven, not even guaranteed to win the job! Kicking in front of 60,000+ is a lot different than in front of 9,000…
@chadfletcher5040 not really Just do ur job cowboy's kicker is from the xfl
Oh yeah buddy. Put big money on it. Were undoubtedly going this year.
Great analysis bro 💪🏿
Thanks jimmy!
Great take 🎉
I think I have seen every Lions video on you tube for a few years now and you did a great job of capturing everything except how good the Lions Special Teams units have been and now with a new and improved kicking unit! There was a moment I was afraid you weren't going to mention Iffy but you got him, you did overlook Green in receiving who was a real star in the pre-season last year, looks really promising.
I usually overlook special teams tbh lol
I was most interested on your thoughts on how the Lions have improved their Defense. I see the Lions young players still getting better. For me the NFL's top teams are staying the same or just getting a little older and slower. I do agree with you. The Lions are as good as anybody. ... Now I must Gronk Spike the like button.
LIONS lifer here. Loved the video, but a couple points for you to investigate:
BARNES is the MOST athletic of the 3 starting LBs (just the least experienced), and coaches are saying that in year 4 he is likely going to be the most improved. Watch a video of LB coach (Sheppard) saying that CAMPBELL is the best (overall) LB on the field this year and is poised to go off in ’24. Also, (AGlenn) defensive schemes this season will make sure that other teams can’t scheme BRANCH off the field like in the playoffs last season
(ie. playing S, C, NC).
AND the biggest pleasant surprise of this draft is WINGO, whom coaches AND REPORTERS
(eye tested, but coaches are trying not to speak to soon and put pressure on him) both are saying will be THE MAN at DT and also some DE in certain packages (bcuz he’s that explosive, quick, powerful, with short stature leverage and great hands combined with incredible contact balance). He will be taking reps and even roster spots from the vets!
The 53: the DL esp., but CB, S, ST groups will ALL have painful and surprising cuts to make the 53 this year (and guaranteed WON’T make it through waivers at all).
Oh and I almost forgot, they have something planned for maximizing the usage of (James) HOUSTON (on the edge). He will be rotational opposite Hutch (the planned rotation with roster additions) BUT IF he stays healthy, he terrifies tackles and QBs (even if he’s a rotational player opposite HUTCH) Weakest spot on the D, but is it really weak if health is maintained?).
Lol I kno this was WAYYYY too long! 👍🏼
@@DocCason9793 you think barnes is more athletic than campbell? Idk. And thats good to hear about campbell but we wont know until the season . I wouldnt be surprised as i stated i loved him in college.
@@TheBottomLineView he’s definitely a freak. No I said that about Barnes based on interviews with coaches in the local (Det.) sports news and pods. But there is talk that the LBs (not even the secondary) will be the most improved unit on this year’s team. That would be huge on too of the secondary boost.
Thanks for all your work my guy. It’s a great show!
Spot on analysis, best I have seen. Anyone who doesn't think the Lions offense isn't as good as any offense in the NFL has not paid attention. The Lions were complete trash at four positions on defense last year and aggressively addressed each of those spots. Their defense is a bit of a wild card, but they look stacked and should move into a top 10 defense. Just how great they are depends a lot on the improvement of all their young super talented players. So much upside for Jamo, Gibbs, Branch, Campbell, Houston, iffy, Arnold, and even Hutch has more upside.
2024 will be the year of the reigning defending undisputed Superbowl champions the Detroit Lions!!!!
YES
I actually think Lions could have a scary defense... we saw how good they looked in the 1st half of the NFC championship game before everything went to shit in the 2nd half.
Now they should have better corners to give that pass rush some more time
They're likely playing Branch at safety. That's where he was in OTAs and mini camp.
Watch "All 22 Films" video on Jack Cambell.
The host is a Ravens fan, but he started following the Lions the last 2 seasons. He does in depth player and play breakdowns, of the Ravens and now the Lions.
But the Cambell break down he did a couple of weeks ago, is very good.
The guy says he's/ was a football coach. I don't know what level, but he said he did time as a LB coach, so probably at least college?
But he does know football.
The secondary was the biggest problem last year and we drafted 2 corners and traded for 2. Just think about that. Carlton davis and terrion arnold will have that field on lockdown
I worry about their division.
Our defense got better if we can stay healthy we got a chance to make it all the way.
If the Lions win, it’ll be cuz of Jack FM Campbell!
Last year was there year. They'll never be closer then they were last year. One half anyway from making the superbowl. Niners defense will not be as bad as it was last year, eagles are back, rams are back, packers are back. Bears look like a team that could be in that conversation. Seahawks are coming back cardinals are trending in the right direction. Its going to be much tougher in the nfc this year.
Aiden Hutchison is that you ?😮
Maybe but they really shouldve capitalized on that nfc championship lead instead of blowing it
Ofcourse it is
Not so fast my friend .......Kevin Zeitler has only been to one pro bowl and that was last year.
crazy considering he was elite with cinci
Injuries play a BIG part in any teams season . YOU have no idea of how the Lions will fare . The DB's are rookies , and that position usually takes time to develop . You are young ( I am 3 x your age ) --- I have watched The Lions since '57 . The ONLY team I really care about is The Detroit Lions . Can't wait for training camp to start and the pre-season games . You are trying to get viewers with a Rah ! Rah ! attitude . ( You can'not 'wish' The Lions into the Super Bowl ! ) ----- there are still a lot of variables and a very tough schedule that YOU cannot control . ----- Go Lions !
I'm picking the Steelers to win the Superbowl and I don't understand why Russel Wilson is playing for free, it seems like he should of taken the year off.
😂😅
The Bear’s have the best receiver trio in the division maybe the league. Look for them to beat the Lions 33-31. Santos and the Bear’s special teams to the Super Bowl at 30/1.
The bears might beat the lions once but be a better team ? No. Also id probably lean texans for the best wr trio but its close
Lmao 🤣 delusional
Don't chip a nail thinking too hard. The Lions went 12-5 without a healthy/good secondary. Now the Lions have good to very good secondary. The Lions were 2nd stopping RBs and now they have added Reader who does that by himself. The Bears have yet to develop a QB, fix the OL properly, and help Sweat. The Bears hibernate during each season at some point.
Dan should be higher. Matt LaFleur is 2-4 vs Dan's Lions. Sean McVay could not develop Goff like Dan did. And Dan now has 1 less playoff win in 3 yrs than Mike Tomlin has in 10 yrs.
The Jamaal Williams thing is what no Packers like talking about. Under Matt LaFleur, he averaged something like 450 yards and 3.5 TDs a season. With the Lions in one season alone, he had 1k+ yards 17 TDs,
@@brokentubing Broke a Lions record held by Barry. Pretty durn good. Dan is such a great coach, but people still doubt him because it's Detroit (and the hand-wringers that don't understand Dan is here to win or lose, not just trying to scrape by).
🤫🤭no
Get it tattooed acros your forehead if you believe that
no.
