my beanie is basic and there are slight variations, so check out the different pattern videos for those variations..
use your own instincts and creativity to modify this basic beanie.
have fun, and explore different yarns and stripes..
one can even add in a row of fluffy yarn every few rows, to spice it up.
different yarns do produce different results so be aware of this.
I used yarns that have a good "spring to them".
adapt RIB (1:1 2:2 3:3 )and stitch count to match your yarn and your tension.
    change needle size if needed.
explore and find what works for you.
Once you find a perfect combination, there is no limit to how many you make.
I love making beanies and bonnets and a local charity here in South Africa is happy to have them.
Knit-a-square provides blankets, hats and toys for children.
    their link is below.
    knit-a-square....
wherever you are, there are charities that desperately need hats.
and your local kids might be tickled to receive one.
I have seen bonnets and beanies I made decades ago, walking around on heads.
    😃 😊
    🥳 🧙‍♂️
have fun and thanks for watching my videos.
    note:
    1:1 RIB is a multiple of 2.
2:2 RIB is a multiple of 4. To increase or decrease, use the 4 times table.
3:3 RIB is a multiple of 6. To increase or decrease, use the 6 times table.
add one stitch to the total count, as this is used to sew up the invisible seam.
