Incredible performance. This was also my favorite concerto to play. Haydn and Hummel are fun as well, but for some reason I always liked this one best and this guy nails it perfect.
OMG Jürgen a real outstanding performance, you truly know how to play that trumpet! Congratulations. For me, as a fan of HR FRANKFURT Sinfonie, the best start for Mahler fifth is yours.

Brilliant! The phrasing alone made this one of the most intelligent and beautiful performances that I have ever heard. If only my performance as a student nearly 50 years ago were 25% as informed and executed as this one! Bravo Herr Ellensohn! My hat is off to you. The FRS is to be commended for its perfect support.

Wunderschöne und erfreuliche Aufführung dieses fein komponierten Konzerts mit brillantem Ton der genialen Solotrompete und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen anderer Instrumente. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und auch lyrisch. Der intelligente Maestro dirigiert das kompakte und ausgezeichnete Orchester im lebhaften Tempo und mit perfekt kontrollierter Dynamik. Einfach wunderbar!

エレンソンのテンポ感をしっかり支えている指揮者のリード、素晴らしいです！エレンソンはゆったりとソファーに寄りかかりながら十分に表現することができている。ややテンポを遅めに取ろうとする面を指揮者がものすごい集中力でカバー。演奏者達もそれらを十分理解。
Actually this concert was originally written for the horn, not the trumpet. I think this would have been difficult to play on a baroque (natural) trumpet with no valves, no vent holes!

Wunderschöne Musik. :-) Schade das man selbst nicht entscheiden kann wo genau die GEZ-Zahlung hingeht. :-) Anteilig bekommt zwar jeder was, aber halt auch die gute Chelena wenn sie mal wieder auf allen Öffentlichen gleichzeitig ausgestrahlt wird. Ein Großteil der GEZ würd ich dem HR-Orchester zu kommen lassen. Ein voller runder klarer schöner Klang in allen Registraturen. :-)

Sehr schoen gespielt. Gefaellt mir persoenlich auf der B Trompete auch deutlich besser als auf der Es Trompete.
@@Artariastein Ich habe mal vor einigen Jahren einen Wettbewerb gespielt, bei welchem die ersten 2 Saetze Neruda Pflichtstueck waren. Mehr als die Haelfte der Teilnehmer hat auf eine Es-Trompete gespielt. Ich war selbst ueberrascht.
Ich aber dafuer auf nem Fluegelhorn gespielt ;)
Edit: und auf CZcams finden sich einige Aufnahmen auf einer Es Trompete. Verstehe ich bei dem Stueck nicht wirklich.

The intonation of the trumpet is so fucking nice, bright, agile but core-sounded
listened to different versions using a bE trumpet...I prefer the heavy and powerful sound of bB trumpets
Does anybody know this is a B flat trumpet? That's the first time I have seen a baroque trumpet concerto played with that rotary type. The performance is outstanding indeed.

Great performance. Horrible placement of the harpsichord. Should be in the middle of the ensemble with cellos and basses.
I think it's because they had to keep there distance

Leider mit der falschen Trompete gespielt. Der Glanz fehlt, Tempo zu langsam. Schade.
jouez sur une trompette mib votre son sera moins puissant .Attention au style. De la douceur svp Ecoutez maurice andre
la puissance ne sert à rien pour cette oeuvre c'est la douceur et le velouté qui comptent sinon ce n'est plus de la musique baroque .Seule la trompette mib convient pour cette oeuvre ou une trompette à pistons sib de petite perce comme lucienne renaudin vary mais c'est un phénomène français
People should know how much Bb trumpet is a stupid instrument. Even he plays very beautiful.
