I will vote for Glare because:
1-Its really cute
2-Its a completely new monster
3-Will help Bedrock and pocket edition players (because they dont have F3)
4-The Caves will not be so linear, because now those new open areas mines with gigantic structure will exist so you will need a lot of torches to light that areas up because huge horde of monsters equals big death( the areas im referring its the ones where the player rides a boat across the water in the caves those areas where bright in the trailers but in game they will be in complete darkness)
5-To help me know if i entered the deep dark biome so i can avoid the Warden
I hope they all get into the game at some point, like with the biomes.
Especially because bedrock players don't have mods that can let them add the loosing mobs into the game. (Also the allay is so freaking cute omg)
To make everybody happy, I think Minecraft should put them all into the game.
I'm still trying to choose between Glare and Allay, but it doesn't really matter what mob wins, all of them are good :D
I consider that the intention to make minecraft more alive with these mobs is wrong.
These mobs will end up being enslaved in some way or another, because their concepts originate it, Insurance players will have the glare locked in a box until they have to use it to see dark places, the alleys will be put to work collecting items in automatic farms, and the copper golems will be in small boxes pressing buttons until they rust.
I really hope I'm wrong and that doesn't happen, but I fear the worst ...

@@koryan6294 sadly I didn't, I would have had a very difficult time choosing the mobs, one finds you the mob spawning areas along with lighting then up secretly which is useful in hardcore and normal mode, one is a literal walking item sorter, other one is a cute copper golem who has this undiscovered random button pressing ability, see I won't go deep into analysis😂 but Im saddened that they all 3 aren't coming to the game, allay got voted because people have wayyy lot of problems sorting items and it dances soo... And glare is soo good for me right now, since Im trying to build a ravine home and many mobs spawn there in just normal mode, I would love glare to find the spots but iron golem went to the 2nd round and not glare because its cute animation of not being able to touch a button 1 block above and its undiscovered, lil complex button pressing ability, buttons are underrated, used less and the golem would have added a new importance to buttons and also the very hyped but failed copper ore, imagine a army of 100 copper golems! How cute, and you don't need to find em like allay and glare, just build them with the most common ore copper but since allay was a literal flying/dancing cute blue colour angel who had the most easy to understand ability which solved the problem often faced by many players, allay won, I would have chose allay or copper golem, I do have a good sense of judgement and I love to help the less likely to win team, I would have choosen golem because I knew allay is going to be the winner

I think some of the next few updates Minecraft needs most are a parity update and a consistency/improvement update. I feel like Minecraft is adding new and amazing features to the game, but I still believe that there is enough room for improvement that Minecraft should take an update or two to make the already existing features so much better or just fix small annoying things. To make all features to be the same for both versions, Minecraft developers for both editions could have meetings and decide how features should be for both versions. This would be things like deciding if to make the boat crafting recipe on both editions 5 wood planks or 5 wood planks and a shovel. Or things like should cooked cow meat should be called cooked beef or steak. Another reason Minecraft needs a parity update is so we can have cross-platform play between java and bedrock, making more multiplayer fun without additional add-ons! Minecraft needs a consistency/improvement update so we can make things like the command block texture symmetric, glazed terra-cotta blocks line up in a pattern, dispensers working in cauldrons, endermen taking damage from water cauldrons, water cauldrons removing fall damage, giving a use for chainmail armor, etc.

this is unironically an EXTREMELY cute idea
copper golem is useless with red stone it is just a randomizer but in first place it not even work after certain amount of time (it will turn into statue so there is not even a single possibility)but the allay improve red stone by simple sorters + work as a wireless hopper and more importantly it is constant and controlled by note block which is possible by red stone to control automatically and you can use it while mining (it will collect the cobblestone and etc left on ground so our inventory management also improved.
(You can vote for whatever you want but some people choose the vote from cool and beauty perspective + some people thing copper golem as red stone related and this comment is to let you know the use of those mobs ) and my vote is for allay.
Note=> glare is good but light level of hostile mob spawn already changed to 14 from 7 so it is not that much of help full
Copper in general is an amazing Block for steampunk theme survival builds, and the Copper golem would've put that energy and bring it to life

Everywhere I look when it comes to the building community, it's very common to hear people compliment others on how alive, lively, detailed, immersive, etc... their build is. There are a shit ton of ways to make your build lively. With the Allay, at least we got really solid mechanic with QOL, and a new mob.
I'm excited for the new mob coming. But part of me will always be sad we won't get copper golems. 😂
To be honest my favorite is Glare, he has some adorable eyes and looks like a big cute ghost.

Something about that self building army is just super fun, I know they’re not combat mobs but imagine someone sitting next to a statue, axe in hand, you look around and realize your completely surrounded by inactivated golems, maybe even redstone up something so that the one copper golem activates others which activate a mechanism that builds iron golems

Idea to make the Glare more useful: When it detects a low light level, it’ll place a light source. This can make it so that if you need an area lit up but don’t want to do it yourself, the Glare can do it for you. Maybe the light source can be a glow berry or something?
Another little idea is for the Copper Golem, where you can make special copper buttons that only it can press. And maybe, it can only press the button corresponding to its state and the state indicates how long it will be pressed down, getting slower as it oxidizes until it can’t be pressed anymore. And of course, you can use the axe and wax on the copper button.

THIS...This is how they should do it next year. That you interact, move around with the mobs, and actually get a true feel for them. Then you can make a sound vote on which one is better. I'm still so sad the Copper Golem didn't win. I was really hoping for that one.

@@blueboy1958 I agree man they aren't the small indie outfit they use to be they have the resources to bring on more folks to help speed up projects like this [not that this in super complex i mean if modders are able to bring them into the game based on limited information why couldn't the devs. [Yes i acknowledge the modded versions aren't as refined as what a professional studio but they are 80% there and only had a few days to do it.]
I love the detail that the copper golem runs away when it's waxed and when you hold an axe. I burst into laughter when I saw that detail.

it's sad, Minecraft is like nothing now compared to mods. Adding entities from mob vote which get voted off, more biomes or even better villages and ravines spawns. Is Mojang lazy or just incompetent.
They have many other things to do and they gotta make sure they're almost bug free before publishing them.

@@firewhite lets also not forget that Mojang has to do a LOT of stuff to implement just one thing. I've done some personal mods before and game design in general it's not as easy as people think just to make things feel fully implemented, there's lots more than just throwing a model into a game too, you have to account for A LOT of things. Mojang has to sometimes take three steps back to take four steps forwards and it requires recoding, bug testing, etc, which is something that is imperative for game developers and is lacking in 99% of mods out there. Mob votes are really just one thing in a sea of dozens, Mojang does this for playerbase interactivity, these implementations are up to you regardless of how good or bad the mobs are in both design and function, I assure anyone that takes these things that deeply into consideration that these mobs are nothing compared to what they do in a days work even with all I mentioned previously.
I'd actually love to have all 3 in the game just cause it would be pretty fun to have so many new allies on the fight against Steve's crippling loneliness.

I personally think the Allays are my least favourite. Yes they can find stacks of items but they need to be floating/dropped, and i really loved the copper golems.

The copper golem actually seems very cool with the oxidation speed feature, the glare seems great for ambiance and lighting up the new larger dark spaced out without f3, and the allay would make auto farms so much easier and more efficient.

Also minecraft is so big they need to make it so these updates can run on so many idfferent servers and the different versions of minecraft. Basically what im saying they're probably very talented but theres alot to do than just add things to the game :)

Of course nothing is stopping them resources/money or personnel wise, to be fair I think they should. The reason is probably about balance, but at the same time, all these mobs are pets, they weren’t that big a deal that they could have added, and as you can see from this video, don’t worry, the modding community will add the rest :)

there is a mod called outvoted where mobs that didn't win the vote get added, if you would like any of these mobs in the case that they lost then just install it

I would love a farms and fields update, introducing abandoned farms with barns, workbenches and more. Also new crops such as corn, beans, radishes and some others, i hope you see this!
Here are a few things I'd like to see the new mobs do: for the Allay, it could play melodic tunes on noteblocks periodically or when asked to. For the glare: when it is given a glowfruit, it will offer to show the player out of a cave. For the copper golum: it would rush outside during a thunderstorm to get an electrical charge, which would serve as a prolonged redstone charge.

They clearly have the budget , manpower , and the brains so why just adding one mob and even when they add that one mob they have generic , lame quirks.
I think this is really what is setting Minecraft back from becoming a masterpiece , they are holding there progress by themselves.

As for the Glare showing players a way out of a cave, I think a way to do that is to have the Glare be attracted to light that’s beyond the player’s vision. Of course, it wouldn’t always lead the player out of a cave, but it’ll lead them somewhere hollow
if i had to be honest, the glare has the most unique and cute design of them all :P although its underrated for its abilities, I think they did a good job on making its design
They could made so it could do something more useful, like scare animals/ direct them or make plants grow faster idk something useful
Yes, it is a good design, but for light levels even if you don't have the f3 screen you can just count how many blocks away is your light source. Not to forget that the light level for spawning will be reduced to 0, so basically if you see light there's not gonna be any mob spawning.
the glares abilities are probably the most useful in my opinion, especially in Hardcore!
allay seems like it would be the most useful for mob farms. instead of having abunch of useless stuff in your hopper system, the allay can pick up specific mob drops

the Glare fits in a lush cave, the Allay is helpful, the Copper golem is cute when pressing a button.

If I saw that glare in the middle of a dark cave, I’d shit my pants.
All I want to say is don't vote believing everything the mob intro video says. The best example is probably the glow squid. It showed that the glow squid brings light to the seas, and Jeb and Agnes got hypnotized when they looked at it. Which both of the features weren't in game, not even the light. All it was is a redesigned squid that drops a redesgined ink sac which literally is used in a redesigned item frame and some light to the text in signs both of which doesn't bring light to the surroundings. So if you believe everything in the mob intro video and vote for it would be a big mistake. These videos from modders like Syszee and others are really helpful and I recommend watching them before voting!
But,
Copper Golem:
-It adds life to builds.
-It can become statue if you don't wax it.
-It is related to archeology.
-It is a walking lightning rod.
-Programmable pathfinding is possible maybe difficult but possible and better with golem.
-It looks cuter.
-It looks cooler oxidizing.
-It has potential in more areas/field than allay.
Allay:
Are you kidding me?The allay is just hopper with more steps.AFKing exists.Chests exist.
Glare:
-I guess it looks cool?
-Of some use to bedrock players.
To anybody who thinks allay is good for farms: On the farms page of the wiki, I found only 3 out of 40 farms that have allay potential.
To anybody who thinks allay is good for mining: It only carries a stack, meaning you would need a massive army to do anything decent and it would impede upon mining speed.Just use chests.
Everybody is gonna vote for allay and regret it later on.

@@ketzi2930 Did the witch have any connection to the villager? No. The only possible connection is that they're the same species (being human) and the vexes and allays can easily be seen as the same species as well. Its movement and design is very similar.

I believe the allay should have won as it’s adorable and adds lore to the vexes, however I would be fine with the copper golem or glare winning because they’re so cute :DDD
What they will do in a rare chance
Allay:they rarely spawn as differnt colors + new tan color
Glare: they can turn into dust if you shear them
Copper golem: turns into iron golem
I love the copper golem so much that if it got voted , in game, my irl heart would break every time one of my pet copper golems started oxidizing.
thats why we dont add it we add alley
well it would be an easy fix to where you just scrape off the oxidization layers with an axe and wax the little guy so it stays that shiny copper. Sadly we wont get to see it in game at all :/

All of them are use full Allay can pick up items well your mining or nonstack sorting copper golam randomisers and can be used to take your place pressing buttons or cool statues and the glare can be used for cave hunting

-Phantom 2.0, hot trash reskinned vex that barely does anything
-Copper Golem, a cool looking mob with a lightning rod on its head that can potentialy open up many redstone possibilities, add life to builds, allow for sick builds in statue form, related to archaeology (LORE IMPLICATIONS!), gives copper a use, etc.

@@hungariancountryball2928 it’s not powerful though? It only collects items on the floor, it has to be in loaded chunks near you. It moves as fast as a player. Think about it, how many OP or ACTUALLY GOOD/NEEDED items drop on the floor naturally? The only items I can recall that drop in the floor is reg mob drops, saplings, seeds, sticks, and VERY RARELY apples. But with the golem it adds a use to copper, it adds an new aging mechanic that will be using future in the game, one of the main devs for the next update says he has plans for the copper golem if it wins, it’s good auto farming, it’s the first statue, and it’s easy to tame/ obtain a copper golem unlike the allay. The allay is rarer than a parrot and it will have less health.
