Purists BEWARE! - 1932 Ford Custom Hot Rod

This show-quality 1932 Ford Custom Roadster was professionally built from the ground-up. Previously owned by Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage, the all-steel Ford was finished in Plum Crazy purple metallic, then sanded and buffed to a mirror finish, upon which Daniel Gay laid out the
pinstripes.
The fully boxed chassis is as nicely detailed as the body and featues a chrome dropped front axle with Vega steering box and chromed hairpins. Power comes from a 327 small-block topped by six Stromberg carburetors on an Offenhauser intake, with a Muncie four-speed putting that power to the ground.
The two-tone black and white “tuck and roll” interior was inspired by the Tom McMullen roadster. The Mooneyes engine-turned Auburn-style dash panel adds some Art Deco flash. All this rolls on chrome Smoothie Mercury rims with Firestone wide whitewall tires.
