Undertale is a game made by Toby Fox which is similar to Deltarune which is also made by TobyFox. Currently we are waiting for Deltarune Chapter 3 but Chapter 2 is super cool as well as it has Spamton and Spamton NEO so we can be a BIG SHOT with W.D Gaster and Dr. Gaster with Chara. This video we see characters like Sans Papyrus Toriel Undyne and Alphys but we don't see much of Kris Susie Ralsei or Noelle or Queen but we do see Spamton. This isn't the Deltarune Snowgrave route though so it's not a weird route sadly and it's not Undertale Genocide with Chara and Flowey like with Kris and Noelle and Berdly. These are Undertale memes that are hilarious and funny. I also did not use the Deltarune OST or the Undertale Soundtrack in this video so don't expect Megalovania to appear or BIG SHOT.

1:48 I think I know why. When a boss monster spares you, but you fight instead of sparing, you deal INSANE amount of damage, because you did a "betrayal attack", which does enough damage to finish them off. So, if you spare Sans, now he can do a "betrayal attack" which cannot be dodged.

A take: there is no better genocide route, both are fantastic because they both fit the context of their respective stories. Snowgrave wouldn't have a great impact in Undertale just like Genocide wouldn't make sense in Deltarune. One is bone-chilling manipulation and psychological abuse of a friend in a very character-driven and somewhat settled narrative that discusses familial relations and friendships, the other is a horrific unethical act of "purging" of a marginalised populace severely affected by war, both accompanied by the diegetic nature of controls.

It's just the fact that Genocide isn't as effective at disturbing the player as Snowgrave is. Genocide tries to guilt trip you into getting out of a run even though it gives you the most lore for the game, second only to pacifist, and the run just ends with you accomplishing nothing. It tries to be a deviation from the main game's themes of how your choices affect others but ends up not fully living up to that. Meanwhile, in Snowgrave, this is the most pure and unfiltered version of Kris and Noelle's relationship. There's already some pieces of lore that say that Kris and Noelle aren't actually as friendly to each other as we think they are, and Kris manipulating her seems kind of in character for them in a twisted way. And in the end, despite going out of their way to try to destroy Noelle's mind, kill everyone in the new Dark World, including Berdly, and even become the commander of the Lightner party, it turns out that none of that mattered. In fact, Kris made Noelle a BETTER person because of it. Snowgrave goes to show the true theme of Deltarune, that your choices never really mattered. So in my opinion, Snowgrave does a better job of affecting the player and proving the themes of the game than Undertale's Genocide route.
@@RushWheelerkris manipulating noelle is in NO way in character for them. they are clearly deeply disturbed by the actions you take in the snowgrave route, shown by how they refuse to let the player see noelle again when you go to her room in cyber world, and how when you meet back up with susie and ralsei after freezing berdly susie comments on how kris looks unwell

My personal theory with the "get dunked on" attack is that just like how you can oneshot monsters once there sparable as a betrayal kill, it works the same with monsters, sparing is a sign of vulnarability on both ends, sans is just the only monster willing to exploit that because at that point you definetely deserve it.

So, i know the entire story.
Gooseworx, the creator of TADC, was trying to find inspiration for Caine’s voice, when she stumbled upon these Spamton comic dubs. This guy who was voicing Spamton did this showman/salesman kind of voice, and goose was like, “wow, this guy plays this kind of character really well.” She had her voice inspiration for Caine, but now she just needed an actor who could do a voice like the guy. Then, she was like “Why don’t I just get the guy?” And that, my friends, is how Alex Rochon got the role of Caine. I love that man, he’s awesome

sans can't use the get dunked on attack because he can only use it as a mercy kill, like how when a monster spares you you can kill them easily, same with your character, you show sans mercy, and he can kill you easily.

1:30 this got me thinking. The undertale no mercy route is, honestly, not very interesting aside from the two bosses. It is quite shallowing in terms of meaning and can come off as grossly edgy at times. The deltarune snowgrave route has much more going for it. It’s far more interesting in both meaning and gameplay with a literally creepypasta way of going through the route; and a twisted narrative where we have Noelle commit more and more horrible deeds.
That's the point of undertale genocide, It's a hollow victory, you won but at what cost?

The souls literally enveloped the corpse of the fallen human, using it as a puppet filled with artificial determination.
The monsters that ascended to godhood suddenly either go insane with the immense power coursing through them to only lose it as their original form becomes nothing more than their personal mortal prison of an avatar or are willing to become your patron to help within battles that you cannot fight alone.
You as the player would have to expect the unexpected when interacting with each creature or avatar you come across as most of them still have some powers that are buffed beyond comprehension and will attempt to break your mind as well as try to kill you as they're not all friendly like most of them who are willing to share their power with others.
The underground and barrier can only contain the avatars of these gods and if you think of killing the avatars that are bound to this underground and are slightly powerless due to being bound within their mortal prisons... You're not just going to have a bad time... It's going to be beyond that now. Welcome to ChaosTale where death's not the end nor shall it free you from this hell you bring forth and bestow upon yourself.
