Good to see my little cousins follow through on his dreams of being a jockey....big up bling bling...brother of paparazzi aka buggus

There is a notion that after these jockeys have completed the school, they may not get enough opportunities to showcase their skills. At the same time i applaud the JRC for giving these young men and women the opportunity to be successful in life in the horse racing industry. This opportunity will allow them to play an intricate role in the sector either, jockeys, trainers or even agents, whether Jamaica or overseas.

The JRC is using the the jockey school as a pawn. Nowhere in the world of horses racing you have 30 apprentice jockey. We only have one track. Two race days per week so how does this make sense ? In the US there is no riding school and so many different race tracks running up to four days a week. In totality they never had fifteen apprentice ride nation wide at any given time. The JRC is criminal in doing this. Setting up 3/4 of the apprentices to fail while they make big bucks. The schooling isn't free. Rider can't take their bug to ride out the country. More jockeys than horses at caymanas park.

Seeing how the north American thing goes as it pertains to apprentice jockeys, I totally agree with you santana, dem a charge the youths a lot of money while setting up 25 out of 30 to fail
