- What's up internet! In today's video, I show the processes and procedures that I took to install a roof basket (originally designed for a golf cart) onto the xterra! I have been wanting a roof basket that would sit between the bars of the Xterra's roof rack but most are a bit pricey, imo. This golf cart one was a bit less expensive and sits between the rack bars, just like I wanted! Thank you DIY - Auto & Photo for the video you made, otherwise I never would have found this!

@_moes_garage_ we had one (and liked them) on our FJ Cruiser and XJ Cherokee before it, well probably want one on our current rig too as we get more into it. I'll just follow your steps, we've got the same truck (even the same color, lol 😆), ours is a 2012 🙂👍

Hi, yes there is wind noise but not too bad in my opinion.
Where can I get this basket??
I got it from golf cart king. Link is in the description but I would suggest you google the part number to make sure that they still have the best price. When I first found the basket, it was on a different website for way more money. Good luck!

I spent $350... You gotta search for the best price on it. But anyway to me it was worth it. I use it a lot, also it's a lot cheaper than other options for the xterra.
