Love that you have started playing Minecraft, it’s such a fun and creative game. Few tips from me;
1. Click and hold to break blocks. As a rule of thumb there are tools you craft to make “mining” materials easier - shovel, pickaxe, sword, hoe, axe. All can be made with stone, iron, gold (but don’t) and diamonds. Consider the logical tool to use when mining. I.e. an axe would be best for chopping wood, a pickaxe for mining stone and minerals, shovel for digging etc.
2. Your hot bar is where you will keep your core items, but you also have an inventory. I’d suggest keeping all tools in your hot bar and materials in your inventory. You use right click to “place” a block or use a tool in its alternative function. Trial and error will help you figure out what each tool does.
3. As a general rule, Everything in the day is friendly, everything at night wants to kill you. The exploding guys are called creepers, they are essentially suicide bombers and will mess you up from start to finish.
4. Chickens (not ducks) as well as cows, pigs and sheep are an excellent source of food. When they die they all drop meat that you can cook in a furnace to be a source of food. That hunger bar next to your heart needs to be full in order for your hearts to regenerate.
5. Check out some tutorials and Minecraft for beginner videos to learn some basics of how to play. There is a game to play to essentially beat a giant dragon but you will have no chance to do it if you don’t know how.
Hopefully some of this helps, but we’re all happy to help you figure it out!

Fellow Minecraft player here. Monsters only come out during the night so make sure to build a shelter to stay safe. They also don’t like the light so if you go outside or into a cave, make sure you always have light around you 👍
I've been watching some videos on how to survive the first night. I haven't been successful yet.
@@morpheusasmr6096 making a block tower and one bed is the most easiest way to survive the first night
Just make sure you have a ladder or atleast a tool depending on what blocks you use to tower

Here’s some tips on how to get started:
1. Hold left click when breaking blocks
2. Gather wood and make wooden planks and a crafting table (open the recipe book in the menu after pressing ‘E’)
3. Make a wooden pickaxe and collet stone
4. Make a stone pickaxe, axe, sword, and shovel
5. Search for food, you can either kill animals or farm (I’m sure you’ll enjoy the latter since you garden in real life)
6. Gather iron and enough resources to build a house

This was nice to watch, minecraft is really fun once you get the hang of it and start building. You can pick up blocks by hitting them until they break. Dirt/the grass is easiest to break without tools so I typically make a basic square shelter out of dirt until I collect enough supplies

This is so exciting and fun! When my stepson was little I used to ask him to play Minecraft in my room so I could relax and sleep to the music lol. He loved the game so he didn’t mind. If it was just me and my husband, I’d ask him to play Parasite Eve. The music had the same affect.
It's more difficult to learn how to play then I thought.

You can get wood and press e to go to your inventory and then you get 4 pieces of wood and drag them to the little squares next to your avatar and then put the wood in them and make a crafting table then you drag the crafting table to your inventory and boom you can create new thing by placing the table down and clicking it u got to get resources tho)
I saw some info that said I needed to press I and could not figure out why it was not working.

Hey Morpheus! Please do more Minecraft gameplay, I find it relaxing and amusing. I will write down all the controls you will need to know below to help u with your start :)
To see all of the controls for yourself, click ESC, go to SETTINGS, then go to CONTROLS.
w,a,s,d to move,
Hold left click to break,
Click right click to place,
Double tap the W key to run (you can also set it so you can click a key and it will make u auto run until you stop holding W - Do this in CONTROLS)
You can crouch however I've forgotten the default key for that (someone reply to help)
Use scroll wheel on your mouse to switch to slots in your inventory (or use keys 1, 2, 3, 4, etc)
E to open inventory
And that's the basics
Comments, mention anything I've missed :)
The default key for crouching is left shift (the key that has an up arrow on it)

here are a few tips (some you may know already) that can help you:
left click to break blocks (hold)
right click to place blocks
you can swim, hold the space bar to keep yourself afloat!
you can keep animals as pets if you give them foods that they like! (dogs, right click them with bones in your hand that you can get from killing skeletons. cats can be tamed with fish, parrots with seeds) you can also make them sit and eat food once they're tamed by right clicking them either with nothing in your hand or with food such as steak.
to make a crafting table you can cut down one log from a tree and place 4 of them in the crafting table in your inventory (press key 'e' to open)
in the crafting table you can make things such as a furnace that cooks your food, a bed to sleep in to pass the night, tools such as a sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel etc.
if you don't want the mobs in your game you can change the game mode in the settings of your world to 'peaceful' which will remove all mobs and you can have a more calm gameplay (only if that's what you're hoping for).
just thought id list a few things to hopefully make your next time playing a bit more enjoyable! cant wait to see it :)

Hi Morpheus! I enjoyed watching your first Minecraft video! Getting started can be hard but I hope you can have fun and create things later on! 🤣 If you hold (instead of click) the left click on the mouse you can dig or chop trees to gather materials. And if you go into creative mode instead of survival mode you can fly and focus on building instead of being scared you’ll die! Creative mode comes with all kinds of material you won’t need to gather anything (it’s infinite resources), you can also create your own animals and monsters!
Absolutely love seeing you play Minecraft, it gives me nostalgia to when I first started to play the game and began to figure out the controls
i loved this video so much, i put it on to help me fall asleep, so please make more!! Also, i would suggest going into the settings on this world and changing the difficulty level to easy (less monsters) or peaceful (no monsters) so you don’t have to deal with them too much until you get the hang of things!

At night build a shelter with wood dirt stone and more make a crafting table in you inventory and make doors cake and many more things to help you build
Awesome video! I love that you are expanding the variability of the things you are doing on the channel. Also a tip for you, when you are hitting things with the left click you have to hold the button until what you are hitting breaks, you can know when you are hitting something when cracks start to appear on the block.

Skeletons have bow and arrow. The green stuff are Creepers, don't get too close, otherwise it will explode and it will take a lot of damage or make you dead. Hope this helps.

So awesome that you're playing Minecraft, it takes some getting used to but you have to keep hitting at the tree trunks to gather wood to build or anything you want to get you just keep hitting at it. You'll get the hang of it.

Basic tips: hold down the mouse to collect items. First thing you need is wood. Open your inventory using the E button on you keyboard and turn the wood into wood planks by putting it in crafting slot. Put 4 wood planks into the crafting slot to make a crafting table. Then you can make tools
