- Hoi An is an ancient town and UNESCO World Heritage Site in the central part of Vietnam. It is well known for its cultural sites, lantern festival, restaurants, and shops. I walked through this amazing city on a Friday Night. The city really comes alive at night and it was wonderful to see all the different lanterns, boats, and people around.

Just like the name Hoi An, Peace Gathering, you can see the world comes together in harmony, if only it's the same elsewhere, no more wacko wars. There are direct flights from all major Korea cities here, so Koreans treat Vietnam like a weekend getaway, you can fly 4-5hrs from Korea to Vietnam Friday night and come back Sunday night and return to work the next Monday. Thank you for another beautiful walk.
