I never heelied or skated as a kid because I was depressed and traumatized by abuse. Part of my therapy was to try out all the things I missed as a kid, so me, as a 30 year old woman, just bought aome Heelies!

I'm 32 and I never had heelys when younger, my parents never bought me any. I totally want some now because I remember them being so cool.

i literally faceplanted down a hill once, a rock got stuck in the wheel...
they have heeleys that come with 2wheels on each shoe for little kids
STORY: I had heely's when I was in 4th grade and absolutely loved them. I saved up my money to get then and would wear them all the time. One day I was riding them with my neighbor in her garage, but then had to go home for dinner. so I heely'd down her driveway back towards my house. As a was going down her driveway a tiny pebble got jammed in the wheel of my shoe and I fell forward. I put my arms out to catch myself, but landed so hard that I broke both my wrists. Still loved my heelys tho. and felt badass with casts in school.

I grew up with Heelys, but never had them, when they came out I was in my never-ending clumsy phase, so as much as I thought they were cool I was like probably not a good idea for me to wear Heelys. lol
My clumsy stage will never leave, I know if I get them I *will* hurt myself...

I was absolutely thrilled when, in my 30s, my husband gave me Heelys for Christmas. My elation took a dive though when his niece, who is a professional, stiltwalker, knife thrower, and stuntwoman, said, with complete seriousness, "Those are dangerous."
