Great job man, I've been looking for a design I wanted to do for my mother. The only difference if she has about 300 rolls and different size ribbon spools. You did a great job! Thanks for all the tips. I’m going to try and build one for my craft room. But I have plaster walls. Do you have any tips on how to hang the ribbon holder on plaster walls?

I've never hung anything onto plaster, only drywall. For drywall i use a stud finder to locate the 2x4 behind the wall, then screw into that. I would assume plaster is the same. Or you could use special anchor screws that secure to the wall. Plus the rack isn't that heavy so screwing into 2x4's isn't super important.

I don't think i still have it. But any kind of design will work, just slopes back so it doesn't fall out.
One thing i would recommend is adding some kind of removable stoppers on the end of the dowels. We found that if they slip or something that they will fall off the sides.
