The ribs cause turbulence so smooth pipes and a washable filter would help. Also make sure the throttle body transition is smooth.

I'm sure the 392 has one but I can't verify, I own a 5.7 and mine has a plate after the air filter that says "do not remove". I yanked it out 2 years ago and it's definitely more awake since I removed it and haven't had any intake issues. Plus my 5.7 came factory with a Mopar catback exhaust that the dealer forgot to include in their pricing. 😅

Put a little plate kit behind the throttle body. Put 93 in the tank and even some boostane if you wana be extra then spray it with a 100 shot. Just watch your afr and adjust the fuel jetting as needed. Long as you keep it 100 shot or under timing won’t be an issue long as you have good octane fuel. I sprayed my s550 on a stock tune with a 100 shot for a while before I got it tuned and went to a 150 shot.
