Really good first 👍🏻
Björn Alinder thank you!
Nice build! It’s also on my to do list. I bought a nice table saw on Black Friday. Been making small to medium size projects. I think I’m ready to start on the built in mud room now.
Hope the project turned out great!
Beautiful results

Hey! Thanks for sharing! I’m hoping to DIY something similar in my mud room, stay tuned!
No problem and will do!
Great vid! Gained a subscriber! I'm currently in the process of making a similar project. My bench will be stand alone vs with a backer on it.
Best of luck and hope it turns out great!
Wow that shit looks clean man good job
Thank you!
New sub !!
Thank you!
Nice
Thanks!!
We'll done nice
Thank you!
Hi,
This is awesome project and we'll explained. I am going to it give it a try. Can you tell me what type of paint you sprayed? Also what do you use for caulking?
Happy to help and thank you! I used Sherwin Williams Emerald but I don’t recall the color name as it was a custom color the customer wanted. For caulk, I just used white paintable caulk from Menards. Any big box store should have that. Best of luck and would love to hear how it turns out!
Looking to do something similar to this with concealed shelving like a storage locker behind the hanging hooks.
What stain color did you use?
I believe it was carbon gray
Looks great! What type and color stain did you use????
Thank you! We used Varathane weathered gray wood stain!
Nice build! How'd you secure it to the wall? Thanks!
Thank you! I located the studs before sliding it up against the wall. I screwed directly into the wall through the lower portion below the seat. For the upper portion I screwed into the studs using L brackets at the top behind the crown molding.
Looks great. How did you attach the top to the bottom?
Thanks! I attached the top to the bottom with two pocket hole screws in each support beam. This was more to ensure there was no gap, as I attached both the top and bottom directly into the wall studs.Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Nice build Nick. For pricing did you add materials plus some labor rate times approximate hours spent, or did you base it off something similar?
I subbed - # 488
When I started I found my material cost and doubled it. Hope that helps!
Very nice. What got you started in woodwork?
Thanks for watching! I got started when my wife wanted to buy a dining table. I said I could make one for the same price instead. I used our budget to buy some basic tools and it didn’t turn out half bad. From there, all word of mouth!
buy the track saw!!
I have one now!
What color stain did you choose?! Looks sharp!
Thanks! The stain was carbon gray by varathane!
What grade of plywood did you use? Was it furniture grade or just sanded (something like BCX)?
Hey Scott. I used 3/4 inch birch for the material that was visible and 1/2 inch BCX for the material that was covered in the back. Thanks!
Nice video, what kind of paint sprayer?
It is the Graco TrueCoat 360 DS paint sprayer. Solid entry level sprayer.
I want to build one of those, for a client, how much do you thing should I charge,, Im in NY,,,
Thanks for watching! I think a good rule of thumb is at minimum to double your cost of materials.
What was the cost of limber for this project?
Joseph DeMille thanks for watching! Material cost came in right around $300.
What stain color did you use ?
The stain was carbon Grey by varathane.
What were the final dimensions of this piece?
Unfortunately it has been so long I can’t remember 😅. I do document all my measurements now so will be able to tell you about anything in the future!
Stain but no clear coat??
I did not video it, but did spray on some varathane polyurethane before mounting all the stained pieces.
