I'm with Jerry! 😂😂😂 I'd be in there face first! OMG that looks so good! Big Kahuna and Biggest Kahuna 😂😂😂. So glad you grew them successfully! Great video, guys! You made me smile and laugh! Thank you!
Right on Ke ! I appreciate you being with me on chomping in!! Thanks for all the love and so glad to bring you some smile & laugh. CG
Oh my goodness, how beautiful these watermelons are! And your joy picking eating was so contagious! Loved the part, where CG couldn't wait and started eating immediately, I can totally relate. :-D
Dang right, I couldn't wait! Thank you so much 🤗 hugs! CG
My mouth was watering.
I remember my grandfather growing a 75lb watermelon around 1970.
I remember that video! Hey when that watermelon popped open when you started to cut it, that says quality! Just like great tomatoes, strawberries, even potatoes, you can’t get that at the store!
Memories… good on you guys! I’m busy growing my watermelon seedlings in my house here in australia. Moon and stars and orange sweet are both amazing!!! I’m praying for awesome weather.
Wow Ruth that's awesome! I think we have our AU connect now to film at?? *wink wink CG-camera guy
I never missed one video of yours, the food you made for your family looks very delicious and healthy, you are blessed to have an extraordinary talent, thanks for sharing your life with us
So nice of you! I needed a comment like this today! Thank you - glad you are enjoying as we are enjoying creating!! Kim
How amazing was that! I bet you guys were so excited to harvest that. I have a small cantaloupe growing vertically. I can't wait to taste it!
YES, we were! B/c right up until cracking it open, you have NO idea what your going to get, right? Yah, we were pumped!!! And it was so good --- the temps hadn't gotten very warm yet, so the watermelon was not warm. Thank you Charlene, CG
@@CaliKim29 I saw the pop on the watermelon, that was crazy! I hope it tasted as sweet as it looked. I would have still eaten it warm from all the excitement 😄 I wonder what next year will bring 😱
Kids, great job, good to see your years of hard work finely pays off.
Thank you, Joe! You've been with us those long years, too! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Kim and Jerry
I saw your first watermelon video and i just put my seeds in soil and i am soo excited
Growing watermelon for the first time. So excited I have one grow so far and another baby one.
Oh my gosh your enthusiasm is so contagious! I really could taste that sweet melon! Congratulations! 🍉
Omigosh - that was so fun!! I grew up in central FL (long time ago) and the watermelon growers would pull their trucks up at the edge of town, straight from the fields, and sell those big boys for .25 and .50 a piece. There is NOTHING like a ripe watermelon still warm from the field/garden. I can't do the chilled ones at the grocery store. I realize this is a family channel but you should try it spiked sometime. :)
FRESH AND JUICY AND FULL OF CHEMTRAILS
Congrats guys! Looks like fun
Beautiful watermelon! Yum!
Oh my gosh that watermelon 🍉 looks amazing, color was stunning and so juicy!! Well done Kim 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love the part where Jerry couldn’t wait and started eating haha I can relate that.
I think Keval would have done the same thing!! Thank you! CG
Loved this! It was great how camera guy just couldn't wait! That was an amazing watermelon. Good job! Your enthusiasm was contagious yes!!

Amazing
So exciting and beautiful! Now I need to grow some!
You got to, Carolyn - growing watermelon is so fun and very rewarding! Thanks for hanging out for the harvest!
Uhh! you are so lucky guys. It looks so delicious.
It was! Thank you so much for the love! CG/CK
Love this!! I'm waiting for my Sugar Baby Watermelon to ripen. Perfect timing on this video 🍉
Sounds great! love when that happens! Let us know Vivian how it goes, please! Kim
Cheers enjoy ❤️
Love that "pop" when you cut into it. I am growing Sugar Babies for the second year on a trellis. Harvested on at 11 pounds and it was so juicy and perfect. Now I am waiting to harvest Crimson Sweet. They look like they will be around 20 pounds. Have had to battle a deer attack on the leaves and I have made hardware cloth cages for several of them to deter the foxes, deer, groundogs, squirrels, and yes coyotes (!) from getting to them. Not sure I will win against the bears, but fingers crossed they won't wander by at this point in the year.
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thanks for watching!
Love this 🍉
Glad you enjoyed it AND that you started gardening during the pandemic - Way to go! Growing your own food is so rewarding! Thanks for watching!
Yum!!!!
WOW what a beauty ❤️❤️❤️🍉🍉🍉 enjoy
Right up until the moment that thing opens up...you have no idea what you are going to get, right? This was truly a beauty! Thank you for following along. Camera Guy
Can we save the seeds and use it next year for watermelons
Hi beautiful people 🍉 I remember choking on the juice as soon as I bit into it nothing like a sweet juicy watermelon 🍉 GREAT JOB KIM‼️
Said PERFECTLY. Yep, you've been there. You know...CG
Wow big watermelon 🍉
Yah big time! No pun intended! HA. Thank you for watching.
6years ago canary melon and now watermelon 😘
Wow very good kim 🍉🍉🍉
Hi Keith - can't tell you how much fun this was - thanks for joining us for the harvest!
You welcome
Oh Snap! That's what CaliKim sez but I say that too because I didn't try to grow watermelons this year. 😑 They look so sloppy drippy delicious, hopefully Mack got in on some of that! This video inspires me, I will definitely grow some next year. Thanks for sharing your gardening adventure!
CG: Glad to aha you were inspired by this! Thank you, Fred, for hanging with us on our gardening adventures!
Yuhu really nice
Yay harvest time
Sangat menyenangkan sekali 😁.
Harvest time is the best time - glad you enjoyed it!
Looks so good! Congratulations on your large watermelon! Don't forget to save the rinds. They make a great refrigerator type pickle that lasts a fairly good amount of time and are delicious.
You can also can the rind pickles. I use an old traditional southern recipe. We pull them out for Thanksgiving. My spouse calls them flavor bombs and my neice's husband salivates when we discuss them. They take a bit of time using the old recipe, but its worth it.
My watermelons are done for the year. I got 2 15-20lb melons. They were crimson sweets. Next year I’ll grow seedless ones.
Right on, Jack. You are such a good gardener in my book!! CG
You have done so well, Jack! I am quite impressed!
Going to try growing Mellon next year in zone 7
Go for it and let us know! CG
The watermelon 🍉 look so juicy
So juicy, I can't even tell you how delish it was! Thanks for watching!
That's awesome, how long did it take to grow. I grew some sugar baby watermelon. Got a couple still have about 3 on vine. Here in South Western pa. Zone 6 may not be able to grow the big boys. I also have some cantaloupe on vine hopefully they have time to ripen.
Hey Rick, I started the seeds indoors back in April, watch these videos to see the planting and the slinging up: bit.ly/CaliKimGrowWatermelonVerticallyDIYTrellis, bit.ly/CaliKimDIYSlingLargeWatermelon. With starting your seeds indoors about 4 weeks before your last frost date, and a little luck and warm temps, you may be able to do it next year! Good luck with the cantaloupe harvest - yum! Thanks for hanging out with us for the harvest!
Wow how Beautiful 😍 ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Can you ship a couple BIG slices to me on the East Coast? LOL That was a picture perfect watermelon!
Overniting right now! HA! Thanks, Gene. We truly were so happy. Thank you, thank you...
Wow! That' so cool! Congrats on your Watermelon! Did Mac get a piece?
oh my gosh, Mac. We forgot to offer him some!! Oops. CG

I have a giant yellow melon love to send a picture
You’ll have to let us know how big the other one gets
Will do, will be watching that one closely, as we may be traveling before that tendril is good and brown...CG
Raccoons will get them in Louisiana unless you guard them with alarms and spotlights.
Clever critters those 'coons!!! CK
@@CaliKim29 I have two driveway alarms on my ripening sugar baby melon every night. Ha! The tendril just started drying.
Hi Mam how are you
Doing great, especially since we had an amazing harvest today! Thanks for stopping by!
