In this week's episode, we explore the abandoned mansion from the French family Castello, they were a happily married couple, had 4 young boys and life seemed to be great for the family. But in a sudden night around the year 2002 everything changed, they suddenly disappeared and nobody knows their whereabouts. After asking numerous residents around the abandoned mansion for more information about what happened in this place, nobody could give us clear answers... So it was up to us to turn on our cameras and start to investigate this mysterious home.
Everything of the Castello family is left behind inside, it is just like they could get home tonight and start living there again, this proves to be a very interesting exploring, so let's waste no more time and let's begin this epic adventure!

Some these places I move in.
Y they do abandon house were they go y need abandon house 🏡 so sad looking
Thank you so much for exploring these beautiful abandoned homes for us! You are a Time Machine for your viewers, going back into the past.
I would like to donate money to you, because I know that traveling to these abandoned places are costly, and time consuming.
But unfortunately, I live on a fixed income and I barely make ends meet. The only thing that I can offer you is my prayers, to keep you and your loved ones healthy and safe.
Thank you again, for letting us into your Time Machine!

Parabens,mais um ótimos filme.adoro ver.abraços do Brasil
he is very kind and loving❤️🙏🏻God bless Leslie
The kitchen taken over by ivy and vines has really amazed me! Absolutely stunning decayed beauty !!! The abandoned pictures of the children and their toys add sadness to the whole story!
It's beautiful how you always shine light upon these forgotten places!!!
There is a UT’er that lives in Britain and she said when she filed bankruptcy, she was made to move out and leave everything. When they finally let her back in a lot of her stuff had been taken by the cleaning crew. Like her Jewlery that had been her mother’s , tv ect. So it can be cases like that or maybe it had a mold problem and was to expensive to repair, so just left because mold spores can be in your furniture, clothes, toys ect.
Well, that was certainly an interesting find Leslie. Enjoyable and Huge family home. It does make one wonder why the children of the family have not come forward. Unless it is financially not in their interests to claim it! Such a shame that people just disappear. Here today - Gone tomorrow. Leaving their whole world behind them!
I hope you are enjoying your travels still. X
The fact that many people in Europe don't claim family homes is not that unusual. When your parents or other family members die without a Will the property can sit in limbo for years if not decades. If someone is willed an estate there are heavy taxes that must be paid in Inheritance tax. Properties need to be reassessed for their value and before you can claim it these taxes must be paid as well. It can be quite expensive and many people have no desire to move back to where they grew up. Homes are handed down with all the furnishings still in them and it's not strange in the least that when a property is sold all the furniture is sold along with it. This is one main reason why these homes are left to rot and ruin. Relatives may come and claim personal items but rarely will they take furniture and artwork.
Who goes into empty places and completely wrecks a place throwing stuff every which way? I can't imagine it was left like this by the people who lived there. I didn't see dirty dishes stacked up in the sink or on any surface. So, it must have been fairly orderly when it was abandoned. I don't really enjoy seeing a wrecked place like this with stuff thrown all around. But, for some crazy reason I sit through your exploration. Maybe it is just you I am fascinated with Lesley. LOL I do like how you do it!
The other people that came to “explore” are very rude! Knowing you were filming they continued to laugh, talk loudly and it seems like to make as much noise as they could. Still tho, you managed to make another wonderful video of a forgotten and decayed house. Thank you Lesley and crew for that! ❤️
So many videos about abandoned houses but none come close to yours Leslie! My husband and I look forward to each and everyone!
I am fascinated by the abandoned homes that were once filled with sounds of ordinary lives..once filled with love and happiness..children laughing running around hugs kisses laughter and tears .all things we experience. So sad .only my loved ones will remember me no one else and when they are gone I will be lost to this world also..just forgotten memories..great explore I enjoyed it but it's so sad ..glad u documented it ..u gave them a voice for a few minutes..God bless..you are the best Lesley with all the respect and heart u show towards the previous owners .I love your calming and soothing voice..
Seems to me to be a home of an old couple who once raised the 4 sons back in the 70's or 80's and perhaps there were lots of toys left behind by grandchildren. The furniture, appliances, and tv's seem very old. Not modern for, say, the 1990's or early 2000's. That makes me think the couple were pretty old, often elderly ppl don't keep up with buying newer things. Maybe they had to be taken to an assisted living facility or nursing home? The place looked pretty picked over, like maybe the relatives came and took valuable things and left alot of the crap behind. I find it interesting that homes and their things get left behind like this. In the US, when someone dies, as a relative, you have to go in and clean the place out, even throwing out the things you don't want, so that you can sell the house. I guess it's different in Europe.
I agree the tv & appliances seem old. He mentioned in the intro that they couldnt find any picture of elder people. They can only find the couple pic when they were young. It seems weird it as if they didnt grow old there.
Yeah it's weird. Why doesn't it get sold and new owners come in. Doesn't make sense
Especially if it is in the middle of the city
Bros of decay. I want to say a Big Thank you!! ❤🌹👑🙏🏻.These amazing videos honestly are a refreshing escape from the terrible state of the world events going on. It helps to put the concerns aside for a while and be able to escape into the beautiful mansions and places with the respect and classiness you display towards the people that once called these places their homes.🏰🏡 Thanks truly from the❤!!! Love you & God Bless.🙂
You noticed no television in the main living area. I was raised by my parents without a television in our home. We would talk to each other and play board, or card games. Our family is extremely close.
so many stories like this ive encountered where people just leave everything behind i wonder why none has tried to find out why and why isnt more being done peoples lives left behind it gives me the creeps to think why
That place looks as if it was abandoned longer than 21 years. The decay and condition of the grounds and structure of the house starting to fall apart is a good indication that it's most likely been sitting empty for about 30 or 40 years. The clothing left behind tells the tale. It is an interesting place though. Not many photos to say what happened there but it looks as if the parents owned the house and perhaps died and left it to their children who might have lived there for a time but decided to leave it behind.
I just wanted to add that the other group of people that showed up there were rude for being so loud. They knew you were recording and still got loud. Some people just have no respect for others. Sorry, but that's my opinion of it. Until next time... thank you again for showing us such an interesting place.
Exactly you r right! This has been abandoned long time ago… the cobwebs and deteriorating condition says a lot.
que bien que pongas los sustitulos para entender la historia de esta manción bravo 👏👏👏👏👍💯🇨🇱❤
Wonderful video. I love how you are so respectful and your voice is so soothing. Thank you for another adventure..
i love the new format with the family history. it makes the video waaaaaayyy more interesting. you may want to consider helping the heirs, banks, or governments that own these homes to sell the properties also. you are showing the homes to so many interested people. if an eligible buyer contacts you, then you could refer them to the owners for a small advertising fee or sales commission (whichever may be legal).
such a wonderful family back there
thank you for another wonderful episode
im addicting watching your videos not only the structure but the history in it im imagining life bac k in time
I would love to know what happened to the family it's so sad:( I would love to go on one of your adventures!! I live in Paris and a few hrwsts back there was an amazing story re a flat that had been locked up during the war and only reopened a few years back. Let me know if you cp e to Isle de France! BTW I guessed that the city was Lille?
thank you so much for the good quality video and effort guys..love it 🥰
Thankx Lesley, for another great documentary. This place was fabulous but very sad also. These are my favorites. Getting to see homes from the past. It's to bad there wasn't more history to be found. What you had though was intriguing. Stay safe and stay happy. Lots of love to all .
Thank you for sharing this with us. You're stories are amazing. Love you too.
This was an interesting place. You didn't go down that other staircase I am disappointed, but understand with those loudmouth people in there. Thank you so much Leslie. Look forward to your next one. Love ya
Rather annoying with other people around. But I do admire Leslie and his approach to these forgotten places. And gives you an insight of who once lived in these buildings. They really are wonderful 👍
The family left together and were killed somehow truly sad. I know because God told me but that's all I know about what happened to the lovely family
@@glennharrison7290 God ring you up or something wtf 🤔
@@greywebs1944 I am born/chosen a son of god directly for special reason I have seen Jesus with my own eyes and have gifts I communicate with God directly and asked what happened to such a lovely family who had just left their home and hadn't returned
@@glennharrison7290 But you didn't report it to the Police ? With your conversation with Jesus 🤣 Hope he wrote a statement out if you and him know what happened. I really don't think Leslie would enter a property knowing that killings took place if it's to do with the property ? Leslie doesn't give out information on where the property is. Only the country it's in ok. Have a word with yourself 📰🤐
What an awesome find Leslie! The vines & overgrowth in the kitchen, what an amazing look as sad as it is. Your story telling has come a long way since starting. Stay safe & happy exploring. ❤🇨🇦
Thank u for sharing this~ I love how you explained evrything and your voice is amazing.
Just beautiful! I love how you explore these forgotten houses and castles, reviving the memories they might keep inside. Thank you!
Great video, your narration brings these rooms to life Thank you Lesley also history of basement very important Love you and your team
Amazing video! You take me on a journey back in time. Thanks so much !
I just like listening to you wherever you go...😍🥰 Good exploration and production. You have done well. So much better for every place you take us along. Awesome work! 🤜🤛
Thank you Lesley for another awesome video. Your Voice is so calm to listen to. Have a blessed week 🙏
the more information you give about the story of the family leading up to the abandonment of the home the more interesting it is.
Lovely again Leslie. ❣ I truly appreciated and enjoyed. I love your love and excitement, respect, ect for these love filled homes. You are very good at what you do! I personally have not had a TV in 9 yrs. When I have company over to my small/tiny home we talk, listen to music, and eat. Have some adult cocktails. Open the windows and let nature in. God Bless you. With Love and Appreciation from Kimberlee in the USA 🇺🇸.
Here in the US it's easy to search property ownership records online; same w birth/death records, etc. Is that different in Europe? I enjoy your walk-thrus & presentation style; but in a case like this the mystery was more enthralling than the home itself imo, and left me wanting more info.
Been looking forward to this One since the picture of you , Lesley, sitting at the table with the tea kettle and vines taking over . I love that little room 😊❤️
I really love your videos! You guys do an amazing job! I love how much respect you guys have for these abandoned castle/homes! What would be great is if there was more history of these places. I don't know how hard it would be to do more extensive research of these places. Never the less, I love watching your videos! I live in Colorado, USA and we don't have alot of beautiful abandoned castles out here!! So thank you for sharing!! If I lived in Europe I know I would probably do the same thing as you guys!! I love history!!
I really enjoyed this video thank you so much for sharing ! 💜
It's really heart breaking to see all the stuff still in the house but no trace of the owner 😶 The way you describe and showing your respect for each thing is just mind blowing. Thank you so much Lesley. Waiting for the next one. Until then take care and stay safe. Lots of love ❤️❤️❤️
Outro lugar encantado! A sua voz é maravilhosa para narrar! Obrigada!
Thank you for being so respectful of peoples lives and homes❤👍
Missed you Sunday ,never mind your here now can’t wait lv Ann 🇬🇧
Greetings from Malaysia, i love watching all your videos. Its was so amazing and beautiful showing all the beauty and all the details of the abandoned buildings n castles inside out. You are the best explorer by far. Love your works. Thank you for sharing and its really make my day everyday. Take care and stay safe.
Dear Lesley, you mentioned about not having a tv: I keep my TV inside closet doors, and open them when I want to watch a classic old movie. My living room, thus, has a feeling of stepping back in time without the technology displayed.😊
Thank you for sharing.
According to the clothes in the cupboard, it looks like it's been abandoned somewhere in the eighties. We all used to have one of those jackets 😂🤣👍
I’ve noticed in a few houses before, the dinning table is set with plates at each chair. I wonder who would have kept plates out on the dinning table?
This house seemed strange with a grass slicer hung on the wall of a child’s bedroom.
You have said right 🙏
Oh i see & understand, thank you Leslie for describing about the hanging oil lamps back in time how the people used to be with it. I bought one before when i was working in Malaysia…it is very antiques ☺️
Que maravillosa casa, que bien poder seguirte y entederte con los subtitulos. Gracias
Thank you! So much left behind. Sad chaos.
I love to watch all of your videos. Keep safe always dude. Big hug from the Philippines ♥️
Another beautiful adventure...just pictured that beautiful family living in that beautiful 🏠....grt and mystery filled adventure 😀❤
Ein seltsames zugleich faszinierendes Haus. Danke für das Video. 🙌
helemaal geweldig 🙌🏻
Maravilloso momento con tu vídeo, gracias. Muchos recuerdos, mucha tristeza.
The house is in disarray so perhaps squatters were living in the house after it was abandoned
Thank you for showing
You are an extremely handsome man. Great voice for this work. Love your channel--- I predict no shortage of gorgeous young women in your future...👀❤😎
Thank you so much. I love the dining room. It was amazing.
Hola Lesley otro maravilloso video que casa tan asombrosa !! se ve que era una gran familia , que habra pasado? porque dejaron todo ? nunca lo sabremos !! I love you Lesley saludos desde Uruguay 😘

Me encanta como narras, y mas por los subtitulos en español, mil gracias
Awesome video sad the nice house falling apart thanks 👍
Sending much aroha from Aotearoa 💖 I absolutely love your videos!
Thanks again enjoyed it
Wow Leslie you sure have inspired me by this old home . Such beauty especly in that dining room and living section untouched by time so wonderful to see . all the other room are just to get lost in by the beauty and showcase, of the once family use to live there, with so many children.Im not sad im happy got a good vibe so i wanna thank you for taking me on this explore journey of this beautiful time piece to Cherish . Love you to and be careful :) Love Hugs Barbara your friend from USA Florida
This is a pretty good place. It’s so weird to see mother nature growing into it, especially in the middle of a city. I think that it probably would have been best if the other explorers didn’t come in and start making noise, but still got to see quite a bit of everything. Wonderful explore! Take care and blessings!
Thank you. .. Very good and. We have a lot.. To learn... History it part of us. All... Keep going
Wow amazing bro 🔥
That board with the small painting on it is called a drafting table, used for drawing and making blueprints for structures and buildings.
Q video maravilhoso..amei ..parabens 👏👏👏👏 ❤
After watching so many of your videos, I always get the urge to go in and clean these wonderful houses and haul away the junk, and restore the grounds. I'd like to see them as they were when people lived there, but that would be a different video...Bros. of Rehab!
#583💟👍 What kind of city allows an abandoned property to remain an eye sore and us less on the property tax roles?
I can't wait 😍
Hola, otro video ineresante , me encantó y sigo agradeciendo los subtítulos!!así losdisfruto más.
In the 50's my granma had an older phone, with no numbers, but a lever instead of the dial, which you operated several times, then an operator answered you, asking you which number you wanted to contact as well as the city, and she put you in communication with your correspondent! The first answering machine I saw was in 1968, and it only took 10 messages on a magnetic tape, it was already an amazing progress. At that time in my city (about 100 000 inhabitants), the phone numbers had only 3 digits! You ask the (human) operator, "please, make me in touch with the 254 (for example) then the name of the city, you wait a few time before the number you ask , answers! Most of the phones were for trading, or rich people... My grand parents own a car driving school. Poor people use phone booth, or call from the nearest post office. It's not so far!
Thanks for your interesting explorations, and be safe!
From France, Charles.
Hi Lesley French mansion is beautiful. It sad the family just abandoned the place and left it to decay and rot. Great video stay safe.👍🏻👏🏻🔥❤️🥰
Great video Leslie! Who is that exploring with you?
Awesome😌😌😌😌
I can feel the love in the photos.
Thanks... Have a blessed day...
I always wonder if the police looked for them at the time they went missing so wierd how they go missing it’s a bit scared really
Please be careful Lesley. We don't want anything to happen to you. Why are you by yourself? You should have someone with you.
It’s sad to see everything left behind. But sometimes it could be something like they had been in an accident. One never knows..They we’re a large family too and it would be very hard finding somewhere for them all to live if they just deserted the house. It was a great walk around, done very tastefully as always..It’s a shame the others came..Thanks for showing us ..Love n Light 🥰
Very nice explore Leslie I never heard of that German brand of the treadle sewing machine. I still wonder what happened to the family. Those other people that showed up were not very considerate. But you did good and carried on 😊
I enjoy watching ur utube videos thank u very much
Some homes have 2 kitchens...one on a cool level of the home, to be used in the summer, one on a warmer level for winter. Houses of rich people in colonial times in the US had these. Some European immigrants, especially Italians, in the US even today have these.
We wait for you every week here in Arkansas!
I enjoy your videos so much. I am very old and find it interesting that you are interested in old things. Joan
It is a wonderful place. Amazingly beautiful.
🤗Alweer een boeiend verhaal 🙏🏻💖maar ik zou de volgende keer toch de Nederlandse vertaling wat nakijken 😂
Still love all of your videos loave from Texas
Another respectful video.!Hope the family is safe . Be careful while walking tru junk ,holes on floor is horrible sight. God bless
Belle exploration
Cu vocea asta ești perfect pentru astfel de explorări.
This house is a bit odd in that it is in more state of disrepair than some that have been abandoned much much longer.
Mother Nature is reclaiming such beautiful places with gorgeous antiques. What a shame 🥺
really good video
Thank you sweet Lesley for freezing your a** of for us! What an odd house. Great respectful documentary as always my dear! Much love and keep safe in your adventures!!! 💜😘🇺🇸
Here in the Philippines, you leave a place like that, it will be empty in no time. People will just steal everything. I watched a lot of your videos but it always leave me wondering where are these people's relatives and why they did not do anything to search for them or at least clean the place and secure the valuables inside... Maybe it's different there... I dunnow..
Yeah bizarre. The bank or city would take possession of it somehow
Super merci 🙏
Beautiful 😍
You guys are doing so well. It's good to discover the insights of these houses... But with these can you please focus on the mystery of the families... What happened to them, or you can try to contact the relatives of those family... I think that will help to grow your channel... We want to know that story also....
كل بيت يحكي قصة و روح من سكن ذالك المكان تبقي لمسة من الحب و الجمال و الشعور اللطيف ...شكرا لزلي 😊
