I like how the scrunchie is meant to be like a crown or a source of power like the infinity gauntlet and how it is a metaphor for being strong and powerful
I agree! It's like at the end when Veronica takes the scrunchie too. And in the movie H. Chandler says I'm always red when H. Duke tries to take the red ball, although I don't think this line is in the musical. It represents power really well.
@@galexandra exactly, just like the Heather's colours, theres always a meaning to something. With the scrunchie, at the end of the movie/musical, it has finished its purpose, it dosent belong to a heather no more, showing that the Heather's power has been destroyed.

yeah, it shows that she was suffering from Chandler's bullying and now she's so happy she's free from it (maybe even too happy... poor MacNamara). (Unpopular opinion warning-I like Heather Duke and I don't think she's a bad person
@@meadw3875 Exactly. I really appreciate this song, because it gives more insight into why Duke became a bully. A lot of bullies were originally victims themselves, and started behaving the way they do because they're afraid of being hurt again. While this is definitely a power trip anthem for Duke, it also shows that she's doing this due to a fear of being bullied.
I love how extra Heather Duke is in this song, like she's trying to prove to herself and everyone else that she's the new Mythic Bitch. She's coming in heavy handed with the metaphors, literally just called the two girls left in her own clique busted, made up the sword fight rumor like girl Heather C didn't have to do all of this
@@galexandra I'm finally warming up to You're Welcome, although I think it justifies JD's killing of Kurt & Ram, downplaying his psychopath tendencies.
But Kurt and Ram are meant to be creepy rapists and not goofy dummies like Blue characterized them as. The point was never that J.D.'s actions weren't justifiable. The point is that justice is not his to deliver and that they might yet have changed. Veronica is the heroine because she's the one who realizes she's going down a dark path and forces herself to change for the better. All of this is my own analysis and opinion though.

Tobie Denielle Nah Gretchen is passive which is why she got What’s Wrong With Me, even after Regina was out of the way Gretchen didn’t try to take her spot. Heather Duke almost immediately went after Heather Chandlers position (in the musical and the movie) because she was tired of being forced to be the pushover submissive sidekick and she didn’t want to give Heather M. or Veronica the chance to slide into that spot and do the same.
