Your right I'm new to worship drumming. I learned building is key. My go to builds are quarter notes then eight notes on the snare and floor tom.

yea my go to build is the ride and snare starting quarter notes then 16s depending on the song added with the kick. our sound engineer says i start clipping when i do it 😂😂🤣 ive been working on going through the toms to finish the build into the groove.

Low tom quarter or eigth notes to snare low Tom with crashes on the down beat. That's my go to.
