To avoid the awkward repositioning, copy the colored and black shapes together, delete the black shape, paste the two together in front, rotate together by 180 degrees, then delete the new black shape.

Dont know really anything about this stuff. Am literally learning AI strictly from great tutorials such as yours. DID notice something w/in gradient that you didnt mention. You can grab gradient points w/in the shape and move them around. Just thought it was cool and maybe worth mentioning. Thanks for your help :)

If you use the Eyedropper tool on that second shape you deleted, it should paint the same gradient without having it erased, copied and pasted :)

Instead of the 64000%x zoom, just don't delete the bottom wedge. After rotating the modified wedge it snaps tp the bottom wedge. Then you can delete it from layers panel.

I made it yo! But I don’t have the new version of the softwares so the corners didn’t get the right yellow color, it’s orange, coming vertically from the 3rd color. How can that be corrected in the older version?
