  • Men seek to be complete, but look in the wrong place. God has the wisdom, goodness, holiness, power, and perfection that we need and desire. Sin severs our access to God. However, those saved by grace are complete in Christ. Learn more about what this means, and God’s perfect will.

Even though we have been Justified by Faith, and we have his Grace, His Love, Forgiveness, Apostle Paul says, Let us cleanse ourselves, and shall we continue on in sin, God forbid 🚫🙏❤ so Yes we have Justification, we are Redeemed, but because of what he did, Love him right back and learn to walk by the Spirit. So we will not fulfill the Lusts of the flesh.
The walk of Sanctification, boy this has been tough for me, but I'm 8 years in the Lord, learnt many things, came out of Cathoclic schooling, and the word of faith, and haven't given up, especially On his grace, I know how to read the Bible now, Rightly dividing, and also
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Death, Burial, and Resurrection, and it's in my memory, That's how I've been starting to win these battles, Remember what he did for us all, and learn the good works, 👍 learn scripture for ourselves.

Context always brings clarity and correction. Keep reading the section of this letter on completeness and you will discover completeness has a context. Paul is speaking, specifically, to the inclination of the early Church (and us!) to look to the ordinances (that were nailed to the cross). . . . Paul is saying your salvation is complete in the work of Christ - no need to add anything from the ceremonial law - the keeping of the works of the Law. He's not saying you have nothing to do in choosing to walk in the power that indwells you, the Holy Spirit, a choice every believer makes every day.

    I have a question:
I have not understanded whats the difference between Jews and gentiles. After the cross of Jesus aren't everyone saved the same way? The Jews, can they not just trust the blood of Jesus and be saved? If yes then why do we make apostleship to them different than to the gentiles? What I am saying is if the Jews are saved by faith in Jesus as the gentiles do, why when the other apostles preach works we deny it? Because everyone other than Paul preach faith + works and if we are all saved the same (by trusting Jesus) why do we deny the works preached from John and Peter. Ok to make it clear:
    Paul's salvation= gentile salvation= jew salvation
Other apostles salvation= jew salvation (we say)
So by that it has to be
    pauls salvation= gentile= jew= other apostles
therefore paul=other apostles, which means we must have faith+works
All this will be wrong if
gentile salvation today=/= jew salvation today
Are the Jews saved in another way than us?
I am confused please someone explain

    • @kindingmyway4460
      @kindingmyway4460 Před 3 lety +2

It comes down to dispensational doctrine.
Israel's salvation (Earthly Kingdom Gospel)...(salvation plus works)
Was put on hold after their third strike which Was at the stoning of Stephen.
When Christ reappeared to the Saul his arch enemy who then became (the apostle Paul) and made him the first member of the body of Christ and then gave him the revelation of Christ according to the mystery, is when the new dispensation of Grace began.
From that time forward to the rapture of the church, ALL BELIEVERS BOTH JEW AND GENTILE ARE in the GRACE dispensation.
Once the dispensation of Grace closes out at the rapture, Israel's program as a nation will start back up that being salvation by grace through faith (plus works). Today there is no difference between Jew or gentile if you are in Christ.
There's neither male nor female, neither bond nor free. All believers are one body in Christ and he is the HEAD of this body of believers.
      1 Corinthians 12:27
For ye are the body of Christ and members
      inparticular.
Christ revealed NEW information to Paul concerning the MYSTERY program which is the HEAVENLY Kingdom program. Salvation by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone.
Jesus Christ did all of the work necessary to not only forgive all of our sins past present and future but also to impute HIS perfect righteousness to our account thereby making each and every member of the body of Christ ACCEPTED in the BELOVED, that is in HIMSELF. We are not saved by any performance based acceptance with God because Christ did all of the work. That is not to say that we ourselves will not do good works. The free gift of God's grace and eternal life through his Son provides the very power necessary to equip us unto good works. Israel's covenant promises were based upon them doing something and in exchange God would do something for them (you do this and I'll do that).
Remember, through Moses came the law but through Jesus Christ came Grace and Truth.
This amazing Grace actually empowers us to reckon ourselves dead and resurrected with Christ as well as dead to sin and CHRIST Himself alive in us. It is Christ who lives and moves and has HIS being in us. It is definitely not each one of us trying to live for Christ because according to Galatians 2:20 we ARE crucified WITH HIM.
      Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet NOT I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live BY the faith (OF) the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
In this GRACE DISPENSATION we are not saved by works but UNTO good works.
      But remember,
      Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
That is huge... it's powerful to
understand because it will change everything about how you view who you are in Christ and what you are here to do as an ambassador of Christ.
OUR INSTRUCTIONS AS MEMBERS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST ARE FOUND IN PAUL'S EPISTLES (ROMANS- PHILEMON) except Romans chapters 9,10 and 11 where Paul is speaking about his Jewish brethren, IN THE KJV BIBLE as he (Paul) IS THE SINGLE APOSTLE TO THE BODY OF CHRIST.
I'm sure it would be helpful to you and
for learning more about HOW to rightly divide to search out the people I've listed below according to 2nd Timothy 2:15
STUDY to (shew)... (Microscopic study of scripture as if with a magnifying glass) thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth.
TruthTimeRadio with Trey Searcy, Lonnie Martin (God's 7 dispensations), Grace Ambassadors with Justin Johnson, The Message of Grace with Richard Jordan, Questions and Answers with John Verstegen, Columbus Bible Church with David Reid. That's just to name a few of the excellent RIGHT DIVISION pastors and teachers out there.
Learning HOW to rightly divide God's word COMPLETELY CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER. Again, our instructions as a members of the body of Christ are found in Paul's 13 Epistles. Of course all of the Bible was written (for our learning and is profitable, but not all of the Bible is written to or about the body of Christ. We all must understand that there are many differences in the Bible. There are different doctrines preached by different apostles to different audiences as well as different dispensations, different baptisms for different people groups such as the lost sheep of the House of Israel during the "Earthly Kingdom Gospel" versus the "Heavenly Body of Christ Gospel." There are different salvations, different churches, different Gospels etc.
We must not view the Bible as a still photo but rather more like a movie with progressive revelation. Because God has not always dealt with man in the same way from the beginning of time but has indeed changed the way he has dealt with men through the different dispensations.
I hope you take the opportunity to look up these wonderful brothers in Christ that teach God's word RIGHTLY DIVIDED. It will forever change you in the most amazing way to understand that God deals with men today based on his unmerited, undeserved, unearned GRACE and MERCY and not according to his law which was given to Israel as a nation.
      Titus 3:5
NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS MERCY he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For (by GRACE) are ye saved (through FAITH); and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
      2 Corinthians 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, (NOT imputing their trespasses unto them;) and hath (committed unto us) the word of RECONCILIATION.
I hope this helped concerning your question.
      Blessings in Christ always! ❤️

The KEY to understanding DISPENSATIONAL truth is to know WHEN God CHANGED his way of dealing with men.
Peter and John were in the "Times Past" DISPENSATION.
They were part of the little flock preaching a DIFFERENT gospel to a DIFFERENT audience.
The function of the Holy Spirit AT THAT TIME was DIFFERENT.
He enabled them to keep the law as he will do in the time frame of the tribulation saints.
The Hebrew Epistles Hebrews through Revelation speaks to this.
BUT NOW the Holy Spirit has SEALED the believers as a NEW CREATURE the Body of Christ.
Romans thru Philemon speaks to this.
Also during the ministry of the apostles to the little flock and gentile believers (Jewish proselytes) they COULD LOSE their salvation if they did not do the works required. Everyone in the body of Christ today is SEALED with the Holy Spirit and CANNOT LOSE their salvation because Christ did all of the work for us. Read Ephesians 1:13- 14 and Ephesians 4:30.
Peter and John were among the Jewish apostles sent by Christ in Matthew 10: 5 to preach ONLY to (the lost sheep of the House of Israel.) Clearly Christ told them they were NOT to go to the gentiles nor to enter into any city of the Samaritans.
Even Jesus Christ in his Earthly ministry in Matthew 15:24 declared "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel."
You see we did not receive our gospel of salvation by GRACE ALONE (no works) until Jesus Christ reappeared to Paul to give him this MYSTERY INFORMATION.
IT WAS MYSTERY INFORMATION THAT WAS HIDDEN IN GOD ... KEPT SECRET AND NOT MADE KNOWN UNTIL HE REVEALED IT TO PAUL.
      READ EPHESIANS 3:9.
This is the revelation of the resurrected glorified Christ given to Paul which was according to the mystery.
We the body of Christ are in the "But Now" dispensation. The tribulation saints (when God restarts Israel's program as a nation under covenant promises) will be in the "Ages to Come" dispensation.
The whole point of the change of dispensations is that God CHANGED the way he deals with men and there will yet be another change after the rapture of the church.
Prior to the grace dispensation the little flock Peter, James, John the disciples and all those who came to God under Israel's covenant program
That being Jews and Jewish proselytes or gentiles who believed God under Israel's protocol.
Things changed when Jesus Christ came back to reveal to Paul a new dispensation a new way of God saving man and accepting mankind.
"But Now" is a term the Bible uses to show a change in THE WAY God deals with men today.
      ROMANS 16:25-26 explains this CHANGE.
25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you ACCORDING TO MY GOSPEL, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION OF THE 'MYSTERY', which was (kept secret) since the world began,
26 BUT NOW is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, ACCORDING TO the commandment of the everlasting God, MADE KNOWN to (all nations) for the obedience OF FAITH:
You see salvation could only come through Israel in times past. A person had to believe (and operate under their program. They had to keep the law and they had to do sacrifices etc) Israel's an (Earthly Kingdom) gospel. They had certain rituals to go through (water baptism)etc, certain ceremonies to keep and had to come under the COVENANT promises. They would do something and God would do something for them in return (bless them) and if they did not do it they would be cursed.
The point is COVENANT versus NEW CREATURE Body of Christ.
AND THE POINT IS THE CHANGE OF DISPENSATIONS.
Once you see this the entire Bible will make complete sense it will fit together perfectly without flaw. All of the "seeming contradictions" will be cleared up in your mind.
One of the best videos to watch to understand the change of dispensations on CZcams is called
'A Birdseye View of the Bible' by Rodney Beaulieu.
However do not watch other videos by him as he has changed his position on the judgment seat of Christ and several other things but that video inparticular is great as he shows you the difference between 'Times Past, But Now and Ages to Come dispensations on a large chart to give you a visual.
Also another video that will help you understand the change of dispensations hence the change of programs and the change in the way that God deals with men is called "God's 7 Dispensations" by Lonnie Martin. He is an excellent right division teacher as well as

If you want fairly short straight to the point videos go to TruthTime Radio with Trey Searcy.
This is just a few of the excellent right division teachers out there.
Most of these ministries also have online web pages.
Another excellent side by side comparison online resource is "What Saith the Scriptures."
The comparison is between the Earthly Kingdom gospel and the Heavenly Kingdom gospel for the body of Christ the two different programs between the preaching of The twelve apostles to Israel or the little flock versus the preaching of the apostle Paul to the body of Christ.
I hope this helps you out.
Most definitely between all of that people I listed here, you will find the answers you are looking for.
If you desire to search for more right division teachers let me know I'll send you more.

      1st Peter 1:1
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, TO the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia
Are we among the scattered? NO.
      1 Peter 1:5
Who are kept by the power of God through faith UNTO salvation ready to be revealed IN THE LAST TIME.
The little flock are still waiting for their salvation
to be revealed. And it will be AT the TIMES OF REFRESHING.
      Acts 3:19
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, WHEN the times of refreshing SHALL COME from the presence of the Lord.
BELIEVERS IN THE BODY OF CHRIST TODAY ARE NOT WAITING FOR OUR SINS TO BE BLOTTED OUT.
Furthermore we are not saved by confession of sin, repentance of sin or water baptism or any works of the flesh whatsoever.
But by first HEARING (Paul's gospel) and then BELIEVING it.
The ONLY GOSPEL that saves today is 1 Corinthians 15: 1- 4
You cannot reconcile FAITH ALONE with faith and works.
The mail wasn't going to you.
GRACE is not only unmerited favor but IS the Finished Cross Work of Christ. We REST in the FINISHED CROSS WORK OF CHRIST. JESUS CHRIST PLUS NOTHING.
Many people believe in the cross work of Christ. They just don't believe it is FINISHED and that they must add works to the COMPLETED work of Christ, his death burial and resurrection.
We believers in the grace dispensation are NOT under a covenant such as is preached by Peter James and John in the Hebrew Epistles.
God has made distinctions in His Word, so we need to recognize those distinctions and separate them with divisions. This is RIGHTLY DIVIDING Scripture according to God's command for us to do so in 2nd Timothy 2: 15.
All of the Bible is written for us, but not all of the Bible is written to us or written about us.
According to Matthew 10:5-7, Matthew 15:24, John 4:22, and Romans 15:8, the Four Gospels record the (earthly ministry) of our Lord Jesus Christ to the nation Israel under the law. We are NOT the nation Israel, and we are NOT under the Law of Moses (Romans 6:14-15; Romans 11:25; Galatians 3:28).
We ARE saved by GRACE through FAITH.
Furthermore, we understand that Jesus Christ never spoke of Paul’s Gospel of Grace during His earthly ministry (Romans 16:25-26; Ephesians 3:1-9; Colossians 1:25-29; 1 Timothy 1:11). The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ were never proclaimed as a salvation message until we get to Paul’s ministry.
The Lord Jesus Christ knew that the Jews would reject Him and kill Him. He knew the PROPHETIC program and the EARTHLY kingdom would be (delayed for a time.) Nevertheless, He kept that information SECRET from everyone during His earthly ministry. None of the Old Testament prophets-NOT Peter, James, John, or anyone else in the Four Gospels either-knew of this dispensation in which we live, the Dispensation of the Grace of God.
When we come to Paul, we come to a NEW Gospel, the Gospel of the Grace of God, as found in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
In Paul’s ministry, salvation is going to the Gentiles WITHOUT Israel-this is contrary to the Abrahamic Covenant! Recall that the salvation of Gentiles was no secret in the Old Testament. The secret was that Gentiles would receive salvation THROUGH THE FALL, not the rise of Israel.
Jesus Christ was God, and foreknew our present-day Dispensation of Grace was coming, but He did not reveal our Gospel until the Apostle Paul. What people do is, unfortunately, take Paul’s information and “feed it back into” the preaching of the apostles to the little flock or the nation Israel.
That is to ignore the Bible’s dispensational boundaries. Paul’s Gospel belongs in the MYSTERY PROGRAM and the ministry of the 12 apostles of Christ belongs in the PROPHETIC PROGRAM that was PUT ON HOLD after the stoning of Stephen and will resume after the rapture of the church the body of Christ.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
For BY GRACE are ye saved THROUGH FAITH; and that NOT of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God:
NOT of works, lest any man should boast.

We will be judged based on the quality of our works as members of the body of Christ in order to receive rewards. It will not be judgment for sin because as I'm sure you understand that was taken care of at the cross. But our service for Jesus Christ and adherence to the doctrine He gave to Paul for us will be judged and we will either receive a reward or suffer loss but as 1 Corinthians ch.3 declares we ourselves shall be saved because it's a done deal and we're sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption the moment we trust the gospel.

John 3:17 is obviously written before the mystery. and as far as i understand you can lose your salvation in John days due to it being pre paul/pre mystery. John 3:17 seems to be a faith/grace ONLY verse. How do I make that make sense?

    • @dkgrace6743

Good question. Remember every time you see the word "believe" you must ask the question: Believe in what? The cross did not even happen yet in John 3, so we know it is not the same belief we need to have to be saved. Everyone who has ever live will only be saved by God's grace and what that faith had to be in at that time. Adam's faith was to not eat, Noah's faith was to build, Moses faith was the giving and doing of the law, etc... Our faith is to believe in the DBR that only can save us and by putting our trust in that alone, we are saved. In John 3 they had to believe Jesus was the Christ the Son of God. John 20:31. Does that help? Peace brother.

@J H Good question. Let's see if we can figure it out. We know that Jesus never lied or misspoke, right? So we need to believe every word He spoke was true. He was talking to the 12. We have to know what He meant by "taste death". Is it physical or spiritual?
Matt 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Mark 9:1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
John 8:52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
With all that, I believe it is a spiritual death Jesus is talking about, seeing all those people of His day did die physically. And that only some of them were to be saved when Jesus comes again for them. Or it could be referring in the context when Jesus took them up to a high mountain for the transfiguration. What do you think?
