  • Hey everyone, part 3 of the Honda CB500 tuned engine build series, partnering with BCR Performance and P3 Tuning.
    In this video we continue with the bike build by stripping the cylinder head and doing all the measuring and speccing of the engine. Ben shows how he inspects the engine parts for damage, selects the correct bearings and new parts needed ready for the rebuild.     Suggy see the coil sticks do you need the harness from the bike to wire in to the CB coil

      Hey. Yeah it's wired into the harness, but it's a race harness. Grant at HWW racing made me it. It's just a different plug on the end, and the cables need to be longer to reach the top of the cylinder head. 👍

      Does it have to be a certain year of CBR

      @@thomas1112002 Mine were from a 2007 fire blade. But I'm sure the R6 ones work too. I think they are all the same. The brand is DENSO. Just got them on eBay

      @@thomas1112002 you'll also need the plugs, which are DENSO ignition coil connectors, again on eBay
