- We rented a house in Blue Ridge, everybody chipped in. Man what a nice house and place. This is our story of the motorcycle trip with our buddies. We visited a few Harley shops, few all you can eat buffets, toasted a few drinks, and as always had fun!! michelmarciamotorcycletrips.co...
I go up there every May. Usually the 1st or 2nd week.
I am going up there the second week this year. I hope we will have great weather.

Absolutely awesome video, thanks for the memories. When we were riding we rode a lot of the same roads and oh what memories. You've done an excellent job on this one and thanks again for the memories. Be safe as you rode and always let the Lord take the lead.

WOW, that was great. Have watched this video a couple of times. That's some of my old stomping grounds from when I was a kid. I'm from GA but live in up-state NY now. At 71 I'm still riding a Harley.

Michael once again a GREAT video dude. One of these times we are going to get together and make one. The wife and I spent a week in Franklin NC in Oct and had a blast riding alot of the roads you all did. I have a few you need to put on your list if your interested. Nice job with the new camera too, bet it was easier than one handing the other one.
Looks like alot of fun! Cant seem to find fine folks like yall to ride with down here in South Florida. Trying to get back up to Middle Tennessee!
Yeah, I'll add my two cents and also chime in that you did a great job on the video. Lots of work to pull all that footage together. A nice balance with beautiful scenery, nice bikes, responsible riding, enjoying and sharing life together with a bunch of friends, good eatin', etc... What a neat idea to rent a house for the week. I live on the Space Coast in Florida and hope to make a trip up to Georgia and catch the Dragon soon!

I did this trip and your right. It was awesome. Didn't stay in a house like that. But camped out. Very well done. Bought 1 of my bikes at Mountain Creek. Enjoy

Well, my vicarious ride with you guys started some number of months ago and now I see you all stayed in my hometown of Winder. I pass by this place 4 times daily, it is now a Quality Inn. So, keep up the good work and enjoy every ride. I ride myself but not a HD,, ,Be Happy, Healthy, and Safe......

This is my neck of the woods. I'm just a rocks throw off of Hwy 60 in Mineral Bluff,Ga. just outside of Blue Ridge, Ga. That bridge you liked so much is Shallowford Bridge off of Aska Rd. The dam there below the Dragon's Tail is the one my Papaw helped to build.

Ahh the Dillard house. Ribs on Saturday ya know. Nice video. We are in Gainesville GA so we ride the north often. Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia. Fixing to ride the blue ridge parkway all the way to Virginia were it ends again this June. Probably seen yaw up on your ride. Great group. Enjoyed
I'll tell you what I've been to the Dillard House many a Time the last one of the last trips we did we were right there we didn't go I still regret it to this day....but I will be back😎👍...

Im from north Georgia, and I have to tell you, another great place to ride through is Rabun County and Clayton, GA... You can take the Blue Ridge Parkway down through the Carolinas and it also takes you through Cherokee, NC if you have an interest in stopping by there and hanging with the Eastern Band of Cherokee for some sight seeing... Doing that ride when the leaves are changing will be an experience you wont soon forget... Also, Amicolola Falls, which is near Dawsonville, is also an awesome drive during the fall if you time it just right for the leaves changing... Awesome video and thank you for sharing your ride with us! If you ever find yourself in blue ridge again make sure you hit up one of their local BBQ restaurants (I cannot recall the name at the moment) that is right in the middle of town... also, be sure to take some of the famous fudge from one of the shops on Main Street in Blue Ridge, definitely worth it.

The orchard just outside of Blue Ridge on Hwy 5 is pronounced Muhr-SEE-yur. I'm from Ducktown just over the TN line, and the Mercier family is well known in the area.

Have fun riding the Pig Trail. I think you will like it. If you are staying in Eureka Springs, ckeck out the Edelweiss Motel. They are very friendly folks and love motorcyclist. I must say though, that all of Eureka Springs are motorcycle friendly.

I'm from Mobile and i go up through Blue Ridge to the Smokies.Been to most of the places you visited. I've done the Tail of The Dragon 3 times. Never on a Bike though. You guys did it twice in one day your warriors. This flatlander loves the mountains.
labtide Hope you make it up there on a motorcycle soon, must be rough in the cage and watching the bikes. I know when ever we are in the cage and see a lot of bikes on some nice back road, I know how you feel!!

Oh man that was a nice house, came to like $85.00 a night for each couple which made it real nice, got to say riding up I kept going to Marcia you sure this is the house, I was sure someone with a shot gun was going to welcome us....

We are fine we have just not been riding as much I am still filming but most of the stuff I do now is on our Facebook page as a photo album and a write-up I'm just having a very difficult time trying to find a time to do this even though I'm retired I keep having big plans to be faster at this we're getting ready to make our trip to Maine and I'm trying to think how can I make these videos faster and good but we'll see I'll try it again soon I need to make a couple little videos before we go just to get him out there. motorcyclefreedom Ft. Mountain is between Ellijay GA. and Chatsworth GA. Hwy. 52. I recognized the overlook on the west side of the mountain. Were you aware the damn you took pictures of below deals gap is where Harrison Ford supposedly jumped off of in the movie " the fugitive"? Next time check out Brasstown Bald, highest point in GA. Just North of Helen off hwy 180.
You should check out Ellijay. Sixteen miles south of Blue Ridge. I own property on Ft. Mountain. Check out Painter Gap.
