So basically one can mix and decode ambisonics/binaural recordings and output it to everyday headphones? without needing the ProTools HD or Ultimate surround features? would this be correct?? someone? I really need to know because I am not eager to invest in PT Ultimate or HD... If anyone at waves or who has the waves 360 ambisonic tools could chime in i would appreciate the assistance.
Hi Ramy. You can use any set of headphones but you will need a compatible host application which supports surround. Please view the list of supported hosts in the B360 product page and contact our technical support team for more specific guidance:

so it's 360 mix but for a stereo environement, like headphone, not for 5.1 or mix speaker ?

5.1 or 7.2 monitor setup can do it a bit better, I understand users have headphones, this is great, but I prefer speakers to listen to music. Headphones cant ever make you FEEL the bass or lower tones of different instruments and vocals
She‘s mixing in Ambisonics B-Format most likely for a 360-Video - not in 5.1 or 7.2. Monitoring Ambisonics with speakers would need a lot of channels ,,,

Flip Sergio what you mean is surround sound. But here it's about 360 sounds. That mean if you move your head the sound change and not the other way around like in surround sound.

She is misusing the terms 360 and Surround, they are two really different things!
