    I really enjoyed the video! Thank you for sharing. As a former NCAA D1 Sprinter and Nike product tester, I have thoughts to share:
    1. First and foremost, I think it's interesting that you have a rotation at all! In general, we'd get a new pair or two at the top of season, and that would be our sole pair for that season and it seemed like most other schools (save maybe UofOregon) were the same, though most of us would use the prior season's pair for longer workouts to save the new pair.
    2. The Victory spike is very much tuned for the 800m and up, but if you like it on the 400, I think that's cool - just less aggressive than some other options. I haven't heard of anyone in college using it for that distance! I haven't even tried the new Victory with the Zoom Air bag, so for all I know it does fell aggressive now. I'm an old head. In my day, the Superfly was so much more stiff, and most of us preferred that for the 400 (even though it would rip your legs up! Long ice bath for sure after those days).
    3. I'm 100% aligned with your old-self re: Adi spikes vs. Nike spikes. Adidas often lacks in materials and weight reduction compared with what The Swoosh can provide, though it's hard to argue with an athlete like Lyles (though I said the same thing about Bolt and Puma spikes...now those things were jank). I tested spikes on their way to Coleman because we had a similar foot, and though it took a while to get used to I still find the Maxfly offers something special. That being said, the airbag needs to have so much pressure to not sink into the ground and cost you energy return, and I don't feel like it lasts as long as it needs to. The adidas spikes, with a more simple, stiff design, certainly last longer. Nothing felt like the Viperfly, but obviously those were banned.

    I love the sp2 and will definitely be going for the sp3 when it comes out June 1st. It is slightly heavier but the upper is SO MUCH BETTER. The sp2s upper is fragile as you showed, the new strung upper that’s also used on the prime x strung is so comfortable and molds to your foot, and is far more durable.

    Do you think superfly elite 2s would work for 300 hurdles. Never had sprint spikes, ive worn spikes like the dragonflys and run decent times but thoses are coming apart and want spikes more fit to my events. 110h, 300/400h and 400.

    • @kidzoomprod2892
      @kidzoomprod2892  Před 20 dny

      I personally would say no, the superfly elite two are more of an aggressive sprint spike, I would say Maxflys or sp2, or even the new adidas finesse which are cheaper and good for turn running + energy return and cushion.
