You wont be able to remove the pounded yam from the blender if you use the one for tomatoes because its shallow or deep. So for best results, you would need something we used here
Oh really! Ninja blender is so strong and expensive a bit. We have used it for same purpose for so many time now and is still going great. I bought this blender in 2017 and I am still using it till date. Thanks for the advice, I will watch out.

I use Ninja too and it doesn’t come out so messy and there’s no second step of mashing it afterwards . You both messed it up . Learn how to do something before posting videos online . You should get a perfect consistency with Ninja blender . if I was watching this and had never used a blender I would be put off using a blender for poundo.
