Agreed definitely. Josh has grown to be my favorite one on the show, which really surprised me. He's a major improvement over Pitiznak. It's also really cool that they brought Ace in to run the board. That guy is a legend who really helped me get through many a third shift on the radio.

I had a job in Indy in 85 as an electronic tech (before they stabbed us in the back going nation wide acting as if Indianapolis didn't exist while still broadcasting from there, I'm joking) The company allowed us to listen on headphones. great job , "bob and tom show " bob left , Christy lee -- { bayyyybee } left for a short period , the show had a rough time of keeping it going , not to slam the fill in lady , { name excapes me } but the banter toward Christy , and the quick snappy replys , lady lee hits back with --- takes years to get comfortable with the other guys of the show ! josh is doing very well keeping the adlib and funny stuff rolling along , at the expense of his own body --- { the fattest thing I did , and the ping pong funeral , man that was super funny --- great job from tom to set -it up as he had ! }
it might be due to him using Tom's mic.....different mics sound better for different voices. As Tom's voice is deeper than Bob's his mic would accentuate different frequencies than Bob's original mic would...
I listened to Ace for years when he did the overnight broadcast. He always played the best music of all their DJs, and his awesome voice between tracks was very soothing. It's really cool that they brought him back after the management at Q-95 laid him off. He's a very comforting presence, and yes he's one cool cat.
The best story is Tom putting the "turkey neck" in the fly of his pants to greet guests at Thanksgiving!! Priceless!!! This video needs cameos from Grace & Jessica... Hot, Hot Heat!!!

I'm pretty sure all of the actual shows where they talk are only 2 hours long. Most of the other time is spent on advertising, old clips, ect. I may be wrong but I believe that's how it works

It's the way Tom's mic is. It's programmed to Tom's voice, which is why Bob sounds different coming through. Or Bob had a cold...I don't know.
