I have Extreme Story and I can't tell much difference with my sample of Sauvage other than I get 3x the longevity with the Dior. But again, I'm no expert at detecting specific notes in a fragrance. Thus, I'm happy with the $15 spent on the cheapie and decided to not buy a full bottle of the Sauvage. To me, the minor differences is not worth the additional cost.
I've tried armaf ,flavia, and estiara they use sd alcohol as there eastern fragrances, they don't project as much as western fragrance's .I found they only lasted around 4 hours aswell on my skin , maybe there reformulated there fragrance's.
It appears like the reviewer is opening every bottle with a strong prejudice. Wonder how he would have reviewed them if the brand & the cost had not been revealed beforehand.
I buy "Lacoste Red" since many years, but i was blown away by how well cloned the "La Rive -Redline" is, so i bought it and tested its performance which is a little less and lasted around 5-6 hrs opposed to the original Lacoste which will last well into 10hrs+. but for this price its still a really good bargain!
What's your thoughts on the Belcam brands at Walmart. I get great compliments at work when wearing them. I save money on my higher quality colognes that way
Here in Bulgaria there's a fragrance house that specializes in cloning popular fragrances and I tried the Dior Sauvage clone called Yodeyma Carribean and it smells 90% the same (while costing $20), differences being that the bergamot is slightly more present than the peppers. The clone is also an EDP concentration and lasted longer (12+ hours) than my Dior Sauvage lol
When you metion acqua di gio... I have the original and I happen to like la rive's far more than the original itself. It doesn't bring that egg like smell the original does right after you spray it and La rive seems to bring an update to the original fragrance turning it into a more contemporary version of the armani's. I simply retired the original after getting to know this la rive accidentally fantastic attempt. Its only sin is its short fixation.
I have primitive man cuz I couldn't afford the actual sausage and I actually like it and have gotten alot of compliments from it. And for the price of around $8 or $9 compared to what the original is was cool.

Much better than the current version from Adidas. It's been my gym frag for a few months now and performs rather well in that capacity! I may give the Hitfire a shot to save some cash and juice from my vintage Fahrenheit.
i have 2 of la rive perfumes "la rive ironstone for man, la rive black creek" don't get me wrong they're nice but they just disappear after 30 minutes and don't last at all even if i put lotion or vaseline before so just invest in some quality colognes instead of dupes
La Rive makes great dupes for women's fragrances too! Some are pretty spot on (eg. 'In Woman' is a one for one dupe for Armani Si) and the prices are crazy! Their Fahrenheit dupe, Hitfire, is pretty good. IMO 😂 'Temperature' KILLED ME!! Hahahaha
Those La Rive fragrances are 7 Euros in Austria. And that's the regular price. I prefer niche fragrances in general, but I think I'll get a few just as a daily driver for the office for when I don't want to smother my coworkers in Black Afgano.
Extreme story is mostly orange ,geranium, and pepper it's very smooth and more wearable than sauvage , I don't think it smelt much like sauvage. Milton lloyd colour me volt is the best sauvage clone I've tried.

It's strangely heavy on the orange, especially on clothing, but it does the job. Would love to grab another bottle. Brave is by far the best of them all. I blind bought it 3 years ago at a local supermarket (before I was into fragrances). Here in Europe it costs around 6-7eur (around 8$). I'd say it is about 70% close to Invictus. It actually lasts a long time and projects very well if you spray a bit more. This is the only one from La Rive that performs well on me and I've even gotten compliments from it hours after application! All in all, a fantastic cheapie with great performance.
Ive been watching your videos a lot recently while searching for a new fragrance. Came across Larive today at a store here in Germany and thought I'd search to see if you've done a video on them and sure enough, you did. I picked up the Extreme Story and Black Creek which is their Creed Aventus clone. I had just come from a fragrance shop where I tried actual Sauvage. Personally, I can't tell much of a difference, but I've nowhere near the talent for this that you have. Unfortunately the fragrance store I was at didn't have Creed, so even though I REALLY like the Black Creek, I can't compare it to Aventus as I've never experienced it.

I just got Aventus, millesime imperial and la nuit del'homme. I didn't like aventus at all but millesime imperial and la nuit del'homme have pretty similiar scent to the original one. Sadly, they don't last that long. I heard that they have chagned their oil.

I am glad to see you looked at different La Rives than the previous MaxAroma La Rive reviewers did. Brave intrigued me a little bit and it smelt alright when I tested it in a store. I don't get why La Rive cloned Cuba Gold and charges more. HitFire is actually REALLY good smelling on a strip with the hit of violet and some petrol. Of all the ones I've heard of, I think HitFire is the one I want to actually get. Especially since I broke up with my ex who didn't like Fahrenheit or Gucci Guilty Absolute.
biggbertz1 I have several Invictus clones or smell alikes. Antonio Banderas King of Seduction Absolute is the closest while Cuba Winner could be Invictus Aqua if they had pink pepper in it. Perfrerred Fragrance Conquest and Belcam Gladiator are nice for travel though I think Gladiator is better. Rasasi Hawas I have a decant but feels too cloying in Arizona for practical use beyond fall/winter and maybe spring.

I bought my wife 7 La Rive fragrances quite a while ago. They smell really pretty nice but performance and projection suuuuuck! I know, cheap so what did I expect. The bottles and the scents really were nice though. The bottles especially were much more than I would have expected. The funniest thing though is that one of the fragrances name is the French word for p***y. Someone in Poland is having some fun.
Just got from Kaufland supermarket Brave Man La Rive.. at first was thinking it's smell like Nautica Voyage.. but it's more close on Invictus.. decent parfum.. nice to have it on the car just in case.. 😂 I've pay around 8-9 dollars transform to currency from my country which is RON 🇷🇴 Romania 🥂
This may sound pretty odd but the electronic store Frys carries some really good knock-off fragrances. I bought a fragrance named " Fire Night" for $5. It smells 90% similar to the original aka Dior Fahrenheit minus the longevity but it costs 5% of the original. The quality is definitely going to be very low but then what can you get at such a price point? It's fun to collect these cheapies too. I appreciate the efforts of the companies that make knockoffs. Helps us to not dig a deep hole into our pockets. We need these!!!

For the moment, I didn't find better alternatives than Zara fragances when I don't want to spend a lot of money. Like Vibrant Leather and 9.0 are amazing and really cheap for ex. Specially cauze you can test them without problems. I would say that Aromatic Future (7 euros) is a really good sauvage clone.

I've tried some chatler fragrance's there also a Polish brand. I find them much better and closer to the original's. There of edp concentration aswell and very cheap.
If you live in the UK (or any other country where Avon supplies this) you can buy 'alpha' for men ETD - I bought this ages ago and recently bought the extreme story one to compare - alpha is much better in my opinion. I also compared it with the real sauvage sample and alpha is more accurate (according to my nose anyway) - give it a try if it's available to you, it's a bit more expensive than extreme story but it's worth the money for the extra kick it has, still way cheaper than sauvage! 🍻
Hey man you should check out Ventanna by Armaf, if you haven't. Its the closest thing to Sauvage I have smelled. And it smells really great to my nose. It actually smells more dense and powerful. Again, to my nose. And it was about 20$ dollars.
Follow a handful (both handfuls) of fragrance reviews. Found this video looking for cheap blind buys. The attitude towards cheaper fragrances is off putting. Definitely not against the reviews being your knowledge has been a deciding factor in purchases, that said I watched your frag collections videos and didn’t see much that the average Joe could pick up anytime. I am a new collector enjoying discounted designers but my vibe is disparaging watching cheaper fragrances pushed to the wayside. My opinion and thanks for great knowledge on take on higher end fragrances.

La Rive is a Polish brand. Packages are made in Poland, but perfumes are made in France, which is why it writes on the box mae in France
I don't mind Clones, but I think I'll drop another ten and go with Armaf. More projection and longevity.

Brave is probably the closest to the fragrance it's copying of this bunch. Once the initial opening burns off it's pretty close.

Michael King i own it and invictus aqua i enjoyed it no complaints for price and performance wasnt bad
HitFire was my favorite of the bunch. If I were going to wear one of them it'd be HitFire, then Brave, then Aqua.

Guys try gentle elsatys by reyane tradition. This is one of the closest sauvage clone i ever tried. It beats armaf ventana.

They're okay when you consider the price, but as noted by Backtabled, they're closer to a 50 - 60% dupe than a high quality 90% dupe.

If you live in the UK (or any other country where Avon supplies this) you can buy 'alpha' for men ETD - I bought this ages ago and recently bought the extreme story one to compare - alpha is much better in my opinion. I also compared it with the real sauvage sample and alpha is more accurate (according to my nose anyway) - give it a try if it's available to you, it's a bit more expensive than extreme story but it's worth the money for the extra kick it has, still way cheaper than sauvage! 🍻

Hey man you should check out Ventanna by Armaf, if you haven't. Its the closest thing to Sauvage I have smelled. And it smells really great to my nose. It actually smells more dense and powerful. Again, to my nose. And it was about 20$ dollars.

Follow a handful (both handfuls) of fragrance reviews. Found this video looking for cheap blind buys. The attitude towards cheaper fragrances is off putting. Definitely not against the reviews being your knowledge has been a deciding factor in purchases, that said I watched your frag collections videos and didn’t see much that the average Joe could pick up anytime. I am a new collector enjoying discounted designers but my vibe is disparaging watching cheaper fragrances pushed to the wayside. My opinion and thanks for great knowledge on take on higher end fragrances.

Jfenzie is a cheap Polish clone company aswell they claim there fragrance is of edp concentration .The two I tried were quite weak though.
