Thanks for those tips great video. I couldn't see the part you were using the tool on, but thank you I tried the second way and worked wonderful. By the way, I love videos like this where it is to the point and we don't have to hear the entire life history of why the parts are there and how they've changed over the last 100 years, just to the point to help us take the thing apart. Thank you!!
Excellent. The 2nd way is the stuff now. Great simple video. To the point, no goofy music and you weren't dancing around in some idiotic costume like I have seen on here. New subscriber.
I actually had to disassemble mine like this. I flipped the little lever to try and remove my slide because that's what the booklet as well as the other videos I watched showed. However, that didn't work for mine. I figured out the trigger method by accident, while watching another video trying to figure out what I did wrong, I squeezed the trigger. I wasn't hoping anything would happen by it, I was just testing out the trigger pull while watching the video since the pistol is new to me. Lo and behold, the slide fell off and hit thr ground. I'm glad I discovered this method on my own otherwise it would've taken me a while to see this video lol
Wow just wow that 2nd way was amazing I just did mine if you point the gun forward the pull the trigger it slides off all by its self. Thanks for the quick disassemble trick.
Lol. I just got one of these a couple weeks ago. I’ve been sticking a little tool down in there to strip it down and had no idea I could just pull the trigger instead. 😂😂 Cool deal.
Thank you for that brief and simple demonstration. The manual says to do it the first way, and never even mentions the second option. Why do you suppose that is? Could it be that there might be some damage done in dry firing? Thanks again.
it's because they don't want the liability of some retard pulling the trigger with a live round in it. it's absolutely fine to dry-fire a striker-fire pistol.
The 2nd way is how you take down most pistols. Esp every Glock ever made. I'd say the 2nd way the OP said most people dont know about would be the most common way. But yes the 1st way is to reduce people from causing harm to those around them when cleaning. Most firearm negligent discharges happen when people are not thorough when cleaning a firearm.
@Unintentional Failure ok bud. Premature wear? Lol that’s funny. Your striker addy will last 15-20k rounds. Not to mention you SHOULD be dry firing as practice. If you’re worried about a part wearing out prematurely instead of how you can be the safest then you clearly have your priorities wrong. Not to mention your name says it all.
@Unintentional Failure simply not the case. You being the keyboard warrior that you are “called me out” because of my take on the way the M&P broke down. I simply was talking about how it’s safer is all. You’re correct you’re not my pal or friend but you’re silly to say “ who the Fuck practices by dry firing?” REALLY?? Only the best shooters in the world. Only the most significant shooting instructors. Really?? How old are you man? Any real shooter practices dry firing everyday. Wow we’re not talking about 1911s. It’s perfectly fine to dry fire most all striker fired weapons. They even make magazines so it will reset the connector for you so you don’t have to take your finger off the trigger to rack the slide. Man. Welcome to 1980. SMH.
I find it distasteful that this pistols takedown involves a tool and inserting it in the breach block area to disassemble.. Most modern defensive autos don't have that...... It's a good pistol though, not my cup of tea.
Whatever it was you were pointing at, it was off camera and we could not see. Also, your voice is so low that I can barely hear what you're saying. Btw, have you heard of fingernail clippers?
The most important part of the first way--flipping the lever--is out of the camera's coverage, pretty much making the instruction useless

Thanks man. This video was helpful.
Great video. Clear, concise, to the point!
Thank you bro that was short and straight to the point. Just did it.
Very short and to the point. Not a lot of talking and a meaningless demonstrations. Way cooler than other videos. Appreciate you!

Thank you for this! Quick and easy explanation.
The most important part of video is getting the subject in the frame!!!!

Thank you! Simpler.

I just need you to do a podcast talking about guns. Voice is Bob Ross as fuck!
Thank you, now I understand what I thought I had learned before.

2nd option was helpful ...thz
Excellent thanks👍👍
Thank you, 2nd option was great, but good knowing the 1st option.
Good Job, Thank You Sir

Second way is sweet.. thanks.. also had no idea there was a tool in there! What can we do with that?
What's the deal with the blue stuff on the spring?

That's why there's 2 ways. I understand if you're not into pulling a trigger, but that's the best way I like to use my pew pews
Did you watch the whole video?
Thank you
Why the mags so stiff
Good video except you can't see the "little thing" you're talking about...lol
The second way you showed though was money
Yes, jajajaja "little Thing"
Gave thumbs down only cause couldn't see the sear release lever clearly..
Just listen to his instructions, I felt the same exact way but I listened twice and figured it out pretty easily I can help if you need it my friend
Whatever it was you were pointing at, it was off camera and we could not see. Also, your voice is so low that I can barely hear what you're saying. Btw, have you heard of fingernail clippers?
What😂😂😂😂😂😂
CT
I can’t get mine to lock in place like that
Bro very easy just look for the engravings then press up and lock into place I do it atless once a day
Couldn't see the pin you were pushing down
Really!
What ever you pushes up or down inside is not captured in the video. No one can see what you are talking about.
Amazing job not showing wtf your doing
At 32 seconds u lost me , learn how to use ur camera
