Creating Trombone Solos pt 1 - Making the Accompaniment Track

Now that my kiddo has a vocabulary, her song requests at night have advanced a lot. From the many songs we all know, to the made up songs like “tree song” or “donkey song”, she seems to think there’s a song for everything…and she’s more right than wrong.
However, she also started asking me for Daddy songs, and that made me surprised that she would ask for those songs (maybe it’s just a stall tactic). Either way, I found some time to put some ideas together and decided to take you all along for the ride.
Come find out how I used to write out (or not write out) my music, and how I employed that style of writing to this song. Originally, I intended it to be a lullaby, but it turned into more of a wish from a parent to their kid.
I apologize for any low quality video. For whatever reason, technology got the best of me after I finished editing the video. My device would not let me export the video from the editing program in any way, so I had to screen shot it. I’m just glad I was still able to share it with the editing in some manner.
