    ❤️Instructions❤️
Drain the soaked green gram and cook it in a pot with enough water until soft but not mushy. You can also pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles.
Set the cooked green gram aside.
In a blender, combine the ginger, garlic, green chilies, and grated coconut. Blend into a smooth paste. You can add a little water if needed.
Heat oil in a large pan or pot over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they turn soft and the oil starts to separate.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chili powder. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add the ginger-garlic-green chili-coconut paste and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
Add the cooked green gram to the pan and mix well with the masala.
Add a little water if the curry is too thick. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
Add garam masala and mango powder. Mix well.
Switch off the stove. Transfer to a bowl.
Tempering with oil, jeera and red chilli powder
    Garnish with fresh cilantro.
Serve hot with rice, roti, or naan etc
