- Before they had even gone on their first date, Annette O'Toole and Michael McKean knew their relationship was blessed by the (Shoe) Lord. And before they'd even kissed, they were clinging to each other at a Van Morrison concert. The couple's history is a story of true love that came when both parties were least expecting it - a story that O'Toole says she hopes is "hopeful to people." Because sometimes your future is just a post-ER phone call away.
So glad to see she has not fallen prey to plastic surgery. She is stunningly beautiful. What a great message she shows about aging gracefully.

Me too. Why celebrity women think that that plastic Barbie face is attractive is beyond me. They do look younger, but it's in an uncanny valley way. They look so weird.

What a cute story! When you know, you know. I was driving over to a girl's house for our second (and we both thought, LAST) date. And then somewhere along the way, we exchanged vulnerabilities. So we connected emotionally and intellectually, and I wound up proposing that night. She said "Okay." We weren't all excited or in the clouds, we just knew it was the right thing. 43+ years, six kids, five grandkids. But after all this time, I'm still thrilled when she comes home.

I've been in love with Annette O'toole ever since I first saw her in a movie called " One on One " with Robby Benson. I was just ten years old. I just turned fifty four, but my affection for Annette has not diminished one bit. I just can't understand why she never became a huge star.

In the 70’s I met Annette in Houston. She was performing- My first cousin (Susan) was dating Annette’s cousin and he introduced us. I found Annette to be incredibly beautiful, charming and personable. No airs. I am so very happy she has found great professional and personal success. Wish this happy and talented couple all my very best.

I had the pleasure of meeting Annette during the filming of the Kennedys of Massachusetts back in the late 80’s. She was playing the role of Rose Kennedy. My 4year old daughter was playing Rosemary Kennedy at age 4. Annette was so kind and patient with my daughter and I will never forget that. It was an experience I am so grateful to have had to meet her. She is truly beautiful. 💗
As well as a true beauty and a wonderful actor and singer, I've never met a person so open and honest and real as Annette. Trivia? She is a brilliant knitter!

Ever since I saw her in the movies Foolin' Around and 48 Hours, I loved her. I'm so glad she found Michael McKean- Spinal Tap, Used Cars, etc... They look genuinely happy together. I guess if I have to lose her, I'm glad it's to Lenny!

They are the most adorable couple, and can relate to some of those first date, feeling like you're 14 again moments! 💘💑..When he was in the show "The Best Man" and was struck by a car few years back, and was in critical condition, it was just so devastating!!! So glad he recovered!!!

Funny, my Mom and my Grandma told me to marry the man who loves me the most. I took their advice and have been happily married almost 36 years now.

When I was a young boy, I had a huge crush on Annette O' Toole. I had seen her in TV and movies. I thought she was absolutely beautiful. I'm still a big fan of her work, especially the Superman/ Smallville projects.
I've been a fan of Michael McKean since his days on Laverne & Shirley. One of my favorite movies he was in was Flashback. But here recently, my wife, who loves the Cooking Channel, got me watching Food: Fact or Fiction. I love it. I even started DVRing the episodes. I'm so happy watching Michael and Annette together. They make a great couple, and it's so refreshing to here that two Hollywood A listers have been married to each other for so many years. ❤
