Adams, “Old School”) a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm’s best paralegal Rachel (Megan Markle, “Horrible Bosses”) and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna (Sarah Rafferty, “Brothers & Sisters”) to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

“I know the whole story. I can tell it i can prove it and a jury’s gonna believe it”
i really wish this was said to Harvey so he could just say, ‘if you really had all of that, you wouldn’t have dragged us both in here hoping for a confession’
Thing is, even if the prosecution or the other side has a solid case it's still more impressive for their portfolios to get a win without going to trial. Specially for a prosecutor since they're public officials and avoiding a trial saves taxpayer money. Considering Harvey himself was a prosecutor before, he would know why Andy is pushing for a confession.
@@mashhoodirfan4997 A deal will always carry a smaller sentence and charges than a trial win. Not going to trial either means you're saving money or you're not sure you can win.
New York has cameras everywhere. If i was Harvey, i would destroy that officers life to the point where he can't even get a security guard gig.
That's all we thought and that's we all not as big as harvey. While we're angry, i bet harvey are pretty glad, because it's mean he will make that's cop own him, and that cop gonna pay harvey when he needs it.
Buddy there is officers on camera beating people up or killing them. What exactly makes you think a prosecutor would pick up a case for destruction of property?
Against a high powered attorney they would
@@boomds5602 Oh please, NYPD arrested a high powered investment banker, they put her on a mental institution for weeks until she "accepted" that she wasnt a investment banker, Obama didnt follow her on twitter and the car she was driving wasnt her.
All of which were true, she sued, she won, cop kept his job.
@@arga400 he’s a lawyer himself
Interrogating a suspect that has asked for a lawyer without the lawyer present is a great way to get anything you get during that interrogation inadmissible.
Wow, really? That's handy -- thanks! 🥰
yo, handy for what? what are you gonna do?@@Terra_Lopez 😂
@@pranaynadipalli Wouldn't you like to know?
I would@@Terra_Lopez
The fact that he never found anything concrete to accuse him of, and he always orchestrated evidence and went down to attack people close to Harvey to hurt him, shows how evil and vengeful Malik was and how much he hated and envied him. And about Harvey, no matter how much he danced around the lines, he didn't break them...
Harvey - he* not she
@@harveyspecter9480 thank you
Harvey definitely broke rules tf. He’s done about 1000 things that could get him disbarred in this show.
@@harveyspecter9480 How dare you assume your own gender
@@harveyspecter9480 ggtt
Suits has one of the best if not the best, parallel confession shots in sync with the questions.. love that screenplay & edit
@Katye Dyakova you must be very fun at parties
Surely that says more about you than it does about the show. Why on earth would someone watch 9 seasons of a show they didn't like.
@Katye Dyakova This show is not for uneducated people
@@katyedyakova2103 Then the show isn't for you, look for something else.
harvey can Imediately quash the entire deposition as he was not with his lawyer ...making everything inadmissiable....and harvey should reign 4th amendment claims on malik for violating his rights...
He said everything is inadmissable since he can't call his lawyer
Haven’t watched the season but i thoughts that’s why he hadn’t done anything, he was tryna get them to turn on each other?
Lol…paraphrasing Louis I see😌
What Sean Cahill does isn’t tho
5th amendment*
Yo, Malik was feelin' himself here. You could tell that the actor brought his A game to this scene!
I was thinking that the whole time. Must have been a dream scene for him.
He seems pretty monotone. I can’t comprehend what he’s saying. I just hear “blah blah blah” in this specific cadence.
Harvey has that laid back air about him that is always in control. When it is not and there is chaos, it responds with a spectacular strategy.
That's how you should be. Always in control during the most crucial of times.
Andy Malik brought the cops but Harvey brought the Feds 🕶️
I realize that you can't make an entertaining tv show by everybody remaining silent, but no lawyer is going to sit there and answer question, especially an attorney like the fictional Harvey Spector, and a top government attorney like Sean Cahill. If you remember nothing else, remember this: Never talk to law enforcement.
He asked for his lawyer and didn't receive it. As he said, everything he says is inadmissible due to that fact.
i love this malik character, the show wonderfully showed how jealousy and hatred and cause the worst in a person
AGREE 👍🏻
If Malik had been honest and fair, that cop wouldn't have dared to destroy Harvey's phone.
More Specter v. Malik !!!!
"Sean Cahill: Remember what you said about prosecutors who go to prison, Andy? Well, you're about to find out.
Malik: You're not gonna get away from this.
Harvey: We just did"
I jump from seat everytime I watch this scene. Gabriel nailed the acting part!
Dont forget about the guy who played malik
I've always thought that when a prosecutor says they can prove you did it, but offers a deal anyway, it seems like a weak move. If you can prove it beyond doubt, why bother dealing at all?
Hoping that the confession gives them the evidence they need. Then they yank the deal and deny offering it in the first place.
Anything can happen in court
Enemy/Lawyers rival rankings according to me in suits
1.) Faye Richardson
2.) Anita Gibbs
3.) Andrew Malik
4.) Daniel Hardman
5.) Charles Fortsman
6.) Tanner
7.) Elliot Stemple
8.) Cameron Dennis
9.) Stephen Huntley
10.) Frank Gallo
W list
I'd put Erik Woodall instead of Gallo but it's close
Daniel Hardman should be 1 or 2. They never beat him or Faye fairly it was some random bs sleight of hand or someone doing sth completely ridiculous
I do love that even Harvey has a lawyer, even a lawyer isn't dumb enough to represent himself. It's almost suicide in a court room to do so
Why?
@@Loooooooooooool1 Because you don't have the necessary objectivity to defend yourself appropriatly, although half of the lawyers defend themselves in general. And it can be used against you. Other reasons are sometimes its not your expert area and you rather have someone that is specialized in it as law is vast and you can't know every procedures for every subject.
But he still started talking in the box instead of waiting for his lawyer to come and get him out for the numerous laws that got broken by Malik lol
Every student in law school, no matter what law school you attend, is taught the same saying, “I lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client.”
@@whighamz Because anything he says after he asks for a lawyer is inadmissible, so that’s the best time to talk. He could confess and his confession would be thrown out.
what a nice touch to reference the "prisoner's dilemma" theory
Is it just me or did they neglect to read him his Miranda rights when they arrested him? Which would have made everything moot then.
doesn't matter...they brought him illegally after all and questioning without lawyers present
all malik need is either one of them agree to turn, then tell the other person he got sacked...the formalities can come later
It’s also illegal to continue questioning somebody after they have asked for their lawyer. In a court of law will be found in admissible as evidence because anything given as a statement will be found given under duress
Well he needed one of them to take a plea deal. He wasn’t doing the right thing but he could also fabricate a reason or a story to back up his evidence. Harvey wasn’t charged but was a subject of interest and since his phone got damaged, they tried to get a hold of the attorney but couldn’t
They couldn't question Shawn without Harvey anyway.
2:18 What a cage match. Harvey and Sean are both amazing.
This cop portrays real-life cops really well!! Especially the ones in New York!! He deserves a Best Supporting Actor Award
0:31
😂😂😂
Isn’t he the body guard of the Wellick in Mr. Robot?
So all cops are bad? Or does your opinion just hurt your own feelings?
Have u ever met a real cop or do u only see them in tv shows?
@@Aussie-ku9wl Yeah they are. And it's obvious that you're the one with hurt feelings because either you're a cop or related to cop.
The title should be "Harvey Specter Gets Wrongfully Arrested Due To Abusing Power"
Malek is my favorite Opposing force in this show
Tanner>>>>
Imo Hardman > Malik > Tanner > Forstman
What about Daniel Hardman? And the infamous Harvey busting Daniel and Monica in a hotel scene
Both of them violated the #1, unwavering rule of being arrested: DO NOOOOOT! DO NOT! TALK WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY PRESENT. EVER.
So the attorneys need attorneys?
@@SeansModelBuilds everyone needs attorneys
I always felt this could be the moment when Mike returns to save Harvey. A callback to when Harvey comes to Mike’s rescue
That personal vendetta Malik has against Harvey ruined him.
Well, personal vendettas are rarely profitable.
Why are they talking to the cops, without their lawyers present?
They are themselves lawyers! You'd think they would know better.
lol arresting a lawyer, breaking his phone and questioning him after he explicitly asked for an attorney.. OMFG why this even comes on my feed xD
So, to lawyers would discuss events WITHOUT the presence of an Attorney? 😂😂😂😂
police officer forgets to read miranda rights when arresting lawyer
cops aren't actually obligated to do that. they're just supposed to ensure that you know your rights prior to interrogation. they could have theoretically read him his rights at the station.
That tack slot is still funky.i don't care what you say too,it so is
in wich season it was this episode ?
What's the name of the soundtrack on 3:14? Pls!
The Flash fakked up the timeline and Damian Darhk is now in Suits :)
Suits taught us well
Funny thing is, Malik is right. About everything. Obviously we all love the people at Pearson/specter Litt/Smith/Jones/O'Shaughnessy /Roberts/Martinez, or whatever TF it's called this week, but they are all absolutely criminals who have continuously broken the laws for years. It's great writing because we despise Malik, and Faye, and everyone else who comes after then, yet they are right! 😂
If the law cant be broke, and if there is always a line between right and wrong, then there is not people like the lawers
Harvey has never been a murderer.Even if he used less orthodox means to win his cases, he does not hide evidence, does not fabricate it and does not give false testimony.
The difference between they is that Harvey is a lawyer and hi can defend a guilty or innocent person and Malik is a civil servant who must seek justice, not fabricate it.
@@zizzi1227 less than orthodox means? He literally had his own client (William sutter) sent prison to serve his own purpose which was to get Mike out. Malik is the one who just toed the line a little here not Harvey
@@JHawke12 There is no justification for a prosecutor to fabricate evidence.
Whatever Harvey did, it had to be proven, not with fabricated evidence.
😂😂
If malik had all the evidence he wouldn't be trying to a get a confession
my thoughts, exactly and couldn't agree more
Their are 100% cameras outside that building and this entire thing would immediately end
How did miss this scene ?which season and episode
Noooo i wanted to see that part where Harvey goes outside and punches Sean then tells him all those things he tells him :DD
Malek was correct when he said that Harvey had taken the case to pit Suter away, right? In other words, Malik was trying to do the right thing, to prove that Harvey was dishonest with his client just to save Mike, correct?
just to save mike's life, priorities? Why should a government agent have pushed Harvey to break the law in order to save Mike's life? Why couldn't someone help Harvey save Mike's life because a human life was in danger?
There has to be a defense in there? Duress or something.
What episode is this
Funny how Mallick's little rant about Harvey breaking the law also aplies to him, he wasnt that clean after all.
You think there wouldn't be cctv cameras covering that building and seeing what happened to that phone?
What season was this?
I know that Harvey had Malik arrested later. I hope he got "officer Haskins" fired too.
Season and episode?
0:19 Officer extra looks into the camera
Donna, I need to get back to my psychic detective agency
Two lawyers talking without their attorneys present.... aren't they supposed to be like big shot big brains?
Cant believe the hook handed man just arrested Harvey Specter
I love this movie
lol as if either one of these guys would talk to Malik without an attourney present or not know to shut their traps
0:34 officer Haskins also has no job after Harvey dealt him cause there's no way he would let that slide
Harvey made a grave mistake of talking without talking to his lawyer first!
That phone move turned it into a kidnapping.
3:40 well, malik isn't wrong
Why on earth wouldn't you just say silent in this situation? Defense law 101.
This is all very illegal. No doubt video evidence of destruction of property. Both have been arrested and are being harassed.
better when Malik gets arrested ... and there's no coming back from that ...
The real question is... WHY ARE THEY TALKING TO THE POLICE AT ALL
Lol he committed the crime of withholding counsel ,destruction of property and Witness intimidation.
That alone right there with the phone would get this entire thing thrown out.
UUUUhhhh he's a lawyer, and he's talking to an investigator... without a lawyer?
What episode ?
Season 9 episode 8
This is such nonsense. There's no way Harvey would be talking to this guy without his lawyer, especially after he called for one.
I wish suits gave us a list of all the suits harvey wore and all the accessories so people can buy the suits.
Wait, Gus is now a lawyer?
I wonna see shawn get punched by harvey lol
and a side of what ??? 🤣
A side of KMA.
😄😄😄😄
No Miranda rights? Hahah love it
this whole thing was so illegal it's almost comedic
What did the budget not fit a convincing police uniform?
Riiiiiiiight. So best lawyer on the firm doesn't shut up?
What kind of hokey pokey legal system is this. I guess Miranda rights are optional.
He was arrested and not Miranda right. Case dismissed.
Did you know that destroying another lawyers cell phone without Harvey's consent and the damage is valued at more than $500 and less than $1,000, the officer and Malik can face 3rd degree criminal damage charges and up to one year in prison.
I think I'm a little lost, where's Mike Ross
Patrick j adams anf megan markle who play mike ross and rachel zane both left the show after season 7
LAWYER UP IMMEDIATELY
Harvey did actually pursue a client to put him away
The more you watch this, the more ridiculous. A lawyer who speaks without his lawyer. 😅
What happened next ?
The Bruce Wayne we need but don't deserve.
Malik was such a terrible attorney. How this man ever passed the bar is beyond me.
why are they talking? i am still confused
Watching this series, I always thought that this was another breaking bad: The main character is the bad guy. Harvey outright breaks the rules and crosses lines nearly every episodes, and the only thing keeping him from disbarment is plot armor, being the main character.
4:00 What does this line mean? What happens to prosecutors who go to prison?
well, there are a lot of violent and vengeful people in prison that probably would have a thing to two to 'say' to the people that put them there.
Malik?
More like
(s)Mal (d)ik
What kind of fool would try this play on two of the best lawyers in town?
Guy would fit for a layer!
Haha. Yeah, so an attorney talks to crooked cops? So unbelievable
All this because his boss interrupted his beauty sleep 😂
thanks for the spoiler
