just a quick side note: That first mage summoner guy, he can summon Havel. Once you defeat him, you get the greatshield and hammer.
Because of there curved sword that go arround your shield defence.
I know it's a very late comment, but the moment i read this comment a few seconds later that mage summoned havel the rock.

I think there may be more rings to pick up in this area than any other, its also the only place I can farm for titanite scale and twinkling titanite besides buying them from the maiden at firelink. But you can only do that after you get the dragon ashes from this area, so this hidden area provides some of the most important and needed items in the game. I missed a ring and a miracle that your walkthrough helped with and surprisingly found everything else. Thanks bro.

3:25 you missed an item at the body that almost hanging out of this turn to the upstairs. This body easy to miss 'cause the item light merges with sunlight.

While those rock creatures that you avoided and classified as annoying are a bit of a hassle, I would recommend them as a great farming enemy for both Twinkling Titanite and Titanite Scales. I've only got an item discovery of 212, and I've found a bunch of both of these somewhat rare items by farming these rock creatures.
I know this is late but I only have 112 item discovery 😂😅

When I was going for the ashes in this area I noticed There was a summons for Hawkwood for the boss battle. I thought that was funny considering what happens later.

fun fact: if you die in archdragon peak in the corner that would be ahead to your left when you are looking in the opposite direction from where the wooden bridge leads then you can see your bloodstain if you look at the sky to the left of the entrance to dragonslyer armour boss fight, don't know why tho

Dude are you freaking kidding me. . . I had no idea you could insta kill that wyvern so I literally fought him to the death until I was out of all my estus, then I sat on the ledge that you jump off of to insta kill him and I just spammed arrows into him till he died. . . I’m actually so pissed 😂

Is it true that drop rates increase for farming covenant items while offline, I am farming silver knights for proof of concord kept, and the drop is still low at discovery 310 ( stupid, missed to buy the crystal silver sword), but it is dropping. Since I am a trophy collector, it is an issue for me... Do you have any advice? Since the covenants are broken, there is no way for me to earn those items legit... With regards, Petar.

at 3:27 I found an item on the edge which was camouflaged in the sunlight, I don't think it dropped from an enemy.
Wow I spent so long hacking away at the dragons tail and legs, killed it on my second try but didn't realise you're meant to run away 😅

zeshan arshad he was pretty easy. I killed him in my first try, sl 120. Aldrich was tough for me though.

you missed a small section with 2 good items =/ . there's a little walkway where you can walk outside on the second floor in the room where you did the Dragon Gesture after defeating the first dragon
Goddamn! im on my first playthough i really found this game really easy , the hardest boss only took me 6 tries and i thought everything was going good , but damn! Nameless king was my toughest one and was very different from the others but i got him 40th try finally lol , love these guides man :D i know how much hardwork you put on them

This zone is so annoying imho, the trash mobs stagger hard and are roughly staggered with ultra greatsword and deal shit load of damage

Pshh, I went down the steps and hacked at the thing's neck everytime it breathed fire. Wasn't as slow as you'd expect (about 5x the damage of hitting its legs)

I'm pissed, I'm playing in 2021 and thought I did everything in my second playthrough but nope, had no idea this area existed and already started my third playthrough.
That twinkling titanite saved me bc I sold my sword accidentally
see a good bit of people asking about weakness. SL112 SORCERER drops 1300+ on dragon alone, 4 shits Aldrich and brother w crystal soulspear, and fucks almost everything in the game. only bad thing is a good sorcerer is only that. you can't take hits. deal a little melee damage
but otherwise you're a limited glass cannon

I saved this for ladt myself lol except for ring city om halfway through.
Maan bro I'm trying to get them dragon ashes so I can buy upgrade mats and dam this area is pretty tough.
it is one of easier bosses actually if you have black bow of pharos +10 and eagle ring 2nd phase is even easier as he never runs or charges towards you so you just shoot arrows at him and dodge airwawes or block all just that i think can be done on low lvl even
He warned us about the easy Rock monster but not the gang of serpants going up those stair cases after the bonfire lol
Dark souls 3 noob here, dark souls noob in general, what damage type is best for the nameless King? Also, what damage type is best for the 2 princes in lothric castle? Those bastards are giving me a hard time.

Get help with the twin princes, summon a random online player, doing it on your own is very difficult, as for the damage type for nameless king, there really isn't a set damage that you should use, the battle is long and dangerous no matter how you do it, I just skipped it
Nameless kign is weak to dark and fire, and his dragon is extremely weak to magic and lightning, for armor i used the items that gave me max lightning defense, because the nameless king's attacks deal most ly lightning damage. The drakeblood greatsword is absurdly strong against the dragon.

quick question guys. i heard that you shouldn't ring the bell if you're not ready for the boss yet but after ringing the bell, you have to walk through the fog to face him. so what's the harm in ringing it?

I didnt know hawkwood can be summoned and now i took the twinkling torso in the end like this run told me to. Now i cant use it because i didnt follow hawkwood's questline. Is there another way to use the dragon set?? xD
+Sean Lu Have you got Hawkwoods Shield? You should have gotten it from the Blacksmith. If not, go outside Firelink Shrine, go down and to the left, and there will be a dog guarding a gravestone with a sword leaning against it alongside the cliff. The shield will be there on the grave. After you have obtained the Dragon Torso, talk to the Blacksmith again and he will tell you that Hawkwood wants to duel you for it. Hawkwood will be where you fought the Abyss Watchers. Defeat him to get Twinkling Dragon Head Stone. Hope this helps.

just so u know those turtle rock things drop twinkling & scales..
in around 20min i was able to get around 15 scales & 8-10 twinkle.. not a bad farm spot for these
they look like giant lizards (The lizards that drop twinking tianite lmao)
+SilentChaos101 I think they are minus the crystal. Think they did something to the drop rate on them. Before the last update I could get 4-6 twink or scale. Now I'm lucky to get 2 per run
If you really want 100% playthrough than this guide is not the one to follow guys. there is another video regarding npc's and is not in these walkthroughs, making things a bit chaotic. But nevertheless its good to see where things are etc thanx
