I love Doc. Sets for 15 years, started off ether and puts it right to the wood. Gotta love Farmall tractors

Champion…..great strong looking tractor. As for cleaning up the carburetor…out source the darn thing. Those outside repair shops have got baths, cleaners and replacement parts for the carbs. Well worth sending it out. That way you only have to take it off once and put it on once. Thanks for the video…Mac

How come you don’t want this tractor for your collection? Looks like it could be a great running tractor once you work the carburetor over. 🇺🇸🚜👍

In the process of doing a 1951 Super A. It had been sitting supposedly in a barn for the last 20 years. Unfortunately, the motor was stuck, he started pouring marvel in there over a year ago. Called me about 3 or 4 months ago and wanted to know if I would take a look at it.
We dragged, rocked, etc. all to no avail. Ended up tearing it apart. #2 and 3 sleeves came out with pistons still stuck. Even after they were out I had to use a press to get the pistons out, hitting about 6 tons on the scale to push them out.
The rod bolts were over-torqued by whoever did them last time. The first one I tried to tighten hit 40 ft. lbs and snapped. Still waiting on rod bolts. Tried ARP and several other sources. Case Ih still has them available but at 81 dollars apiece without the nuts. Finally find an alternative source.
Cutting the guides for real valve seals instead of that oil pumping umbrella bs. Surprisingly once I got the carbon off the valves they looked almost new. Valve to guide clearance was perfect as well.
Should be back together before Christmas. Thanks for the videos Doc. Appreciate them. Oh and hope y'all had a fantastic Thanksgiving.

I love my H, just used it tonight to pull my F250 Diesel and trailer loaded with scaffolding up the hill after the DPF plugged up.

Starting fluid is the worse thing you can use for a motor cause it drys the cylinders at the same time it’s a fast way to crank over Where are used in alternative especially on an old tractor

The most valuable part of this video would have been showing the magneto work, the parts, the cleaning, etc. Why the hell didn't you show that?
