The joy and surprise in Janine’s face always makes me laugh (in happiness!) love seeing what you gals find!
Im from Minnesota and Anoka is only 20 miles from me. It is a cute town with antique stores and a great downtown. It is beautiful at halloween with the fall foliage and crisp air.
I want to move to Anoka sooo bad I heard it was beautiful!
The pink daisy Pyrex space saver was a great find! To clean it up, try covering it with oven cleaner and placing it in a sealed plastic bag outside for a few hours. That usually will pull off the baked on gunk without harming the pattern/ shine. (I am a longtime Pyrex collector and have tried that hack several times and it generally works. Just make sure you leave it outside so you are not dealing with any fumes!)
Another tip , try the oven cleaner from the Dollar Tree for this hack- it will do the trick and for less money
I’m sooooo glad you put the pink Pyrex in the cart. That color is popular now. So many younger people are doing pastels in the first apartment kitchen. Great find👍👩🏽🦱👩🏽🦱
Pyrex
If you ever get a plush and the fur is chunked together like that Littlefoot or maybe if you find a vintage Furby, you can use a pet brush on them to rejuvenate the fur. You could hand wash a stuffie in maybe warm water, let air dry and then use a Slicker brush. I would not go ham but if you take your time, it really makes a difference. I also think that Build a Bear makes a special stuffed toy spray cleaner that is really good at getting rid of surface spots ect. I know its a little pricy though.
That owl is what my grandma has!
"What is this Jeannine....what is this" her face had me laughing outbloud...literally
Omg.....You two are so cute and fun !!!!! Love your videos
Yes I have gone to the Halloween capital of the world many times and it is so much fun! Love from MN
I'm also in MN, but I've only been to the parade in Anoka once. It was quite the event!
I love that b style with Mickey and Minnie on it
KEEP them Mickey towel Jeanine! U deserve it!
Hey there! The wind up toys originally came with a wrist watch. They are by Advance Watch Co. There is no date on the original package, but the design of the watch makes me think late 80s or 90s. I found the Frankenstein's monster one on Ebay with the watch selling for $23 plus shipping. Not sure how much could be made without the watch or packaging, but still a very cool vintage Halloween find.
Love the Pyrex!!!
The wiind up toys, Jeanine!!!!
I was the back straight girl ❤️❤️❤️ me too 🤣
To clean the pyrex use a magic eraser or oven cleaner first. Bar keepers is used for stainless steel marks (not grime) also used sparingly as can remove shine from colored pyrex:)
Wow another fantastic thrift-along😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍. Search other thrift stores for Pyrex lids because some stores sell them separately. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!!
Love the Halloween finds Hubby loves the Christmas finds Love the vintage
I've had success cleaning Pyrex with Barkeepers' Friend. Make a paste with water and let it sit on the Pyrex for a while to loosen the dirt and then rub lightly.
That MN Twins World Series sweatshirt price was ridiculous. I live in MN (Win Twins) and found that same sweatshirt at an Arc thrift store here for $2.00.
Oh my gawd buy the pink Pyrex!!!!!!
Soak any Pyrex or oven glasseware in a pan of hot water & oxy powder (I get mine @the dollar tree) it bubbles the baked on stuff right off with ZERO elbow grease!
I love how you two make these shop along videos so fun with your funny comments and the faces you make at various times during the videos. I was worried that you would leave behind the pyrex piece because that is a pattern that you rarely find in the wild. Baked on food residue is much easier to deal with than scratches or chips or even dishwasher damage so you got a great deal with that purchase. Thanks for the fun video!
Some great finds that owl was a home interior set of three I have them they were my mom's there quite old .
Love the Pyrex, and a bonus it wasn’t the yellow bowl! Lololol 😉😂
A lot of cool things today, also I use to live 20 min from yuba city ca. Funny you found it out in NJ. Have a fab weekend ladies 💖
I had the rewind like 5 times to watch Jeannine’s face when she said “I almost threw up”.
I’m cackling. 😂😂
Opps, The owl, could be by Home Co sold by Home Interiors...,
I was totally waiting for one of you to call the shoes Loaf-ers 😆 The bins has been really good the past few times I went. Looks like you both scored some awesome treasures.
Try Dawn Powerwash on the Pyrex. Spray on and let sit. Then use a magic eraser lightly. That stuff cleans up everything. Hard on the fingernails though.
That thrift store prices are absolutely ridiculous ! Never would pay those clothes prices !
I can’t get over the prices for that stuff. I know it’s all collectible BUT come on it’s a Thrift Store! Anyway rants done. I’m so sad I missed the What Not sale my granddaughter was sick 😞
Unique over prices a lot of their stuff now. They didn't always do that. They obviously check ebay now.
Peek will clean the pyrex, metal cleaner just be careful a little goes a long way. Amazon $13.00
Pink Daisy pyrexis what I want!!! Very desirable!!! I would LOVE to find that at that price!
Is the "Daisy" better than "snowflake"......?
@@gilchristantiques7464 Actually, I`ve got the snowflake in charcoal with white snow flakes, &
White with blue Snowflakes. Now I'm looking for the pink Daisy, or pink gooseberry!
I LOVE pyrex, & have collected many pieces.
@@gilchristantiques7464 I think the pink color is very desirable now, Both Pink Daisy, & Snow flake are probably compatible in price.
@@cindytillery8738 I don't Realy collect.. Apart from easy mix, hillstonia and vintage christmas borbles... Oh wait.. OK so I do have a problem 🤣🤣🤣 iv some good Pyrex if you have any of the above too swap ?
I like that Alcatraz top
The could be Home Co sold by Home Interiors. My Mother sold Home Interiors back in the early 1980's.
I really love watching how excited you get and how much fun you seem to be having. As always, thanks for taking us along. Happy Pride Month 🥰🌈
I live in Mn , about an hour or so from Anoka! Crazy you found that pin !!
the Harley shirt is awesome and Yuba City is about 30minutes from me ☺
Cant believe how packed those shelves are!! 😮
Hi J&L, Your videos are awesome! Thanks for sharing your haul. Love the pink baking dish. Stay safe & ✌
I live near that button and I haven't known it to be Halloweenie but I'll Google it lol
The bedding prices are so high! The linens are still relatively cheap in my area.
You should talk more about working at a thrift store:) I bet you have some good stories to tell
Jeanine found a leather horse saddle purse….she knows good stuff
The bins give me straight anxiety. I went once. I did score a vintage Goebel Thumper and Mary Poppins sheet music for my Disney collection. Then a NOS Madonna Cassette tape and concert VHS. I just can't do it again though lol 😥🙈
No pumpkin left behind
Stickers come off really easy, especially on a glossy box, by using a hairdryer 🙂
So much fun ! Thank you for sharing your trips.
I love that dish
Cash flow is my favorite cartoon is a child
I live close to Anoka, MN, and have attended the Halloween parade.
I recently found a 1982 ET plush in South Plainfield but they had it marked at $20. Luckily it was 1/2 off day.
😧 Good thing it was half off! The prices can be crazy!!
Fun outing as always, I liked the saddle bag 💼 looks like you didn’t get it 🙃. I went to my bins earlier this week & found a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses in perfect condition cha Ching!
Good for you. I have so many pairs I gave two Aviators to my son. Rummage sales used to be the best.
I heard bar Keeper's Friend for pyrex. there are CZcams videos.
Cabevision van did have a bucket and they sell new in box for $25-$60
I live in lakewood n.j in our thrift store all clothing is a dollar only new cloths are five dollars i got a fire and ice and a glassy baby for a doller whe i see how expensive the goodwill are i wonder what are the poor people gonna do.
my mom had the same owl & it was from Home Interiors maybe the magic eraser might work on some of them dirty stuff
Please tell me you bought the Pink Daisy!!!!! And will sell it to me!! For real!😁💕💕
❤TFS!
You guys made me crack up over those “bread shoes” 😂 Also- some of the ghosts wearing hats on that box made me think of Ditto from Pokémon.
So many great finds! The staple tho .. ahh! Can you imagine the tan lines those shoes would make? lol
Haha ouch 🤭… I wouldn’t want that!
Great finds well done 👏🏼
Can you show us the Pyrex dish when you get it all cleaned up?
You two are so funny. 8 enjoy your shopping excursions
I don't know where Unique gets their prices. South Plainfield had a Daryl Dixon Pop marked at $100 when it doesn't sell for more then $10.
I helped a friend clean out her garage and she gave me this absolutely fabulous MCM planter AND THEN she pulled out a second one asking me sell it on commission. Laura I wish I could share the pic cause I know you’d love it lol
Such fun finds ❤
Hi, what is the pattern name of the pink Pyrex? Don't think I've seen it before. Fun video, tfs.
I'm pretty sure those wind up toys could be from Michaels. A few years ago they sold some Christmas wind up toys with the rubber bodies. Just a thought.
Hand painted pumpkin planter and scarecrow looks like the mustache it's supposed to be a bat
Goodwill has lost their minds! 39.99 for a sweatshirt and 100 dollars for the transformers. I get the toys are collectible but it's a THRIFT store for goodness sake. I guess they hope to get those prices. Also I think Disneyland in Florida still does their Halloween celebration. I havent been yet but we are there right after it and I was sorry I missed out. However I did buy a very cool shirt. It would be a great trip and I may go this year. Disney is fabulous either way!
Lion King came out in 1994!
Love the things you bought. GW is raising their prices like crazy. It's all donated and there is no reason to gouge the people trying to buy items.
Can you guys post videos of your past What Not sales? I see other CZcamsrs post live sales videos, like Real Nifty Vintage.
You two are too funny- decisions decisions! You should get want you want so there are no regrets later!
🤪🤔
Casper is my son s name
At least goodwill doesn't hike up the vintage toys that much,,,sucky suck suck,,,
