Pink is one of a select few artists who to me, comes across as genuinely heartfelt and down-to-earth. I really admire how vulnerable and transparent she is through her music.
Pink has come a long way from her early days of making music. She started out her music career as part of a girl group called Choice in the mid 90s and was soon offered a solo recording contract.
In 2000 she released her debut album which was more R&B influenced. The album went on to be certified double platinum and her follow-up album was even more successful, selling 13 million copies and producing 3 number one songs.
Known for her incredible stage presence, Pink is also a very talented songwriter. She has sold over 90 million records, won 3 Grammys, and has been named the Pop Songs Artist of the Decade by Billboard.
Today’s performance is a tune called “Just Give Me A Reason” that she wrote with Fun lead singer Nate Ruess, who also joins her on stage. I thought they had great chemistry and really enjoyed how they harmonized together.

I love her. Of all the modern female singers,she's my favorite. One of my favorite things about her is that she respects musicians. In her live shows,she let's the guitar player take extended solos, lets members of her band take the spotlight. It's not all about her. She gets bonus points from me for using Steve Stevens on her Try This album (an actual rock album).

Nate is totally unique. Pink is as you say spot on pitch and flawless, Nates way of intonating in the verse is more interesting, not always spot on but in a musicaly way that makes it very very cool and gives it total edge:-) A Unique singer and hits those highs great
I always liked her for being so real. And love to sing along to her hits. Even though she's way too high for me :D

I think its just AMAZING that she can do aerial acrobatics while still singing live. She is just awesome. Definitely admire her. Been a fan since she first came on the scene. She just keeps getting better and better with time.
Her tone lyrics and phrasing really seem like they are raw from the heart. Easy to feel her stuff as her music is down to earth and beautiful as she is. Definitely put a smile on my face. Can’t really say enough about Pink.

This is what I love so much about Pink, you get the same thing live as on CD. She doesn't rely on auto tune for her performance
I was introduced to Pink by my teenage daughter back in the early days of her career. As an old hard rock, or classic rock as it's called now, guy from the '60s & '70s I was surprised by her. She is an entertainer and videos from her live shows are just an out and out party. She does some pretty good covers, White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane is a great one along with Me and Bobby McGee by Janis Joplin. Oh and Nate Ruess of Fun has got an amazing voice as well.

Pink Descending from the ceiling on a trapeze while belting out song was when I took notice of her as an artist. I’m a little winded after jumping around on stage and it takes a lot to keep from losing breath control. Pink is amazing!

I never followed her music, randomly went to her concert last year, and have been completely changed as a person because of her. Pink's voice is so true and pure. The talent is there. No need for electronics to fix or cover it. I'm amazed at how underappreciated she is among so many listeners and not given her due in this industry. Is it because the younger generation can't appreciate music in its true state. I think of vocalist like Steve Perry. If he was up and coming in this era would be still be known as "the Voice"?
Pink has been in my life for many many years. Her music and lyrics, along with her writing partner Billy Mann and other song writers have touched every aspect of my being. Every emotion. what i love ab out this performance is that unlike a lot of modern music, it sound just like the album version.
This has always been one of my favorites songs! You are right about Pink being such an amazing and relatable performer. Most times when artists talk I go into screen saver mode and just wait for the song to start. But something about her makes me listen. Nate and her have such unbelievable chemistry-they are like two old friends up there!

I am from the 1960's generation of music, so I have always been a music junkie; however, when the lip syncing and computerized voices started popping, I abandoned listening to music. But, recently (yep, in 2023), I stumbled across a P!NK video, and I haven't stopped watching her videos. She brought me back to music because she is an amazing performer and she actually sings her songs live, not to mention what an amazing human being she is. Thank you so much for covering her. ❤✌

It is refreshing to see a down to earth artist, for most I encountered are on a pedestal and unapproachable. 😢 Thank you for sharing your song Cherish. I've been really, really into Fun. and Nate Ruess stuff lately and I made a playlist of his stuff to just listen to on repeat until my one-track mind picks a different artist.
