Wow. Keyboard, synth, and vocals all at once. I've seen him play so well, but that's just god-like. He's not even looking!
So much emotion in this song. As soon as he started singing I cried.
The ending is my favorite part of the song because after going through the chorus again the guitar is still soft but as he sings it one last time the guitar becomes stronger and it sounds like a bass. Rest in peace Youth Lagoon.

A lot of it was just different effects. And besides, performer's voices do sound different outside of the studio.
Studio version? He recorded the whole album in his bedroom.
nigga u high? Do you even know what auto-tune is? In an interview he said that he recorded the songs raw, played them in a garage and recorded it from all the re-verb. No auto-tune.
