  • A modification of the original db killer for the Mivv Suono slip-on exhaust.
Original (before modification): 9 holes of 10 mm each.
After modification: 18 holes of 10 mm each plus 12 holes of 6 mm each.
It sounds just righ, i.e., deeper. For me just about right and still not sound-offending like without the db killers removed completely.
See also the video of the fly-by using the modified db killers at: • z1000sx and mivv Suono...

Well, I don't have it. After making the modification the sound is noticable gruntier. However, this my affect the power/torque that one should verify by a dyno.

Hello Sir, what kind of sound these silencers produces ? Can u make a video out of it . What if we cut the tail of that db killer . What sound that produces ? M having royal Enfield in which silencer has same type of db killer. So what's concept of making holes n cutting tail end of db killer. What difference it makes

Hi, the sound out of this mod can be heard here: czcams.com/video/K3UsQgU3VkI/video.html. Basically it gets significantly more raspy

i have bought a db killer for my bike its seems to lose a lot power down bottom , i love the quieten the bike down but i dont want to lose power , do you think this helps it breathe without losing to much power i have a mt09 with full system

I can not notice any loss, but, according to “facts” you loose a bit of low-end torque

did this work entail a change to the pollution of exhaust fumes?
    Bye from Italy, tom

This is the very last component the exhaust gas travels through and it's only function is to make the bike less loud, so no difference will be made as the pollution is only reduced by the catalytic converter which is further inside the exhaust system 👍
