Plastic to plastic screw holes and too high torque = stripped thread. No need to group cables together and this is highlighted by iRepairs problem getting the clam shell to stay together prior to screwing. Best to keep them separate and low profile to avoid crushing and stress on the screw holes. Simply no need to "group" cables.

My hoverboard has a problem where I tried to fix the Bluetooth and it stopped working where it would take about 20 seconds to turn on and then would not work then eventually I tried replacing the capacitor and when I plugged the battery in it would just spark at the connector when I had it barely touching and then it would turn on briefly for about 1 second then shut off when it was all the way connected to the battery is this the battery or the motherboard

yes that board has two brushless controllers. there fets not transisters . one maybe a regulator

Without charger it won't start. And with charger it makes only the turn on sound no led's or something.

Hello, when you removed the logic board why did you remove each screw from the transistors? Why didn't you just unscrew the 4 screws on the metal plate below the logic board and remove it all together? Wouldn't that be faster? Thanks
+Sean Burke looking back , leaving the transistors to the heat sync plate, and just removing the 4 screw which fasten the logic board to the frame would be more efficient and safer.

Hi recently bought one, however one of the charging port pin is broken and unable to charge. Port was removed, it has 3 pins but 2 wires connected, black and red. By chance do u know where I can locate one online, all I am seeing is the 3pins, 3 wires connected and what's it called. Thank u

When unplugging the power connection and replacing the gyro sensors, the power connector kinda sparks a bit. Is this normal? I don't think it should do that?.

I need help with my scooter there was something wrong with the green power signal it turn red and was making a sound . Later it just freez and all the light turn on and it stop working . When i turn it on all the lights are on but it does not funtion . Please help me
1. The light that shows my battery life is not working. I believe it is because one of the wires is unattached from its connector. Is there anywhere where I can buy this cable that attaches to this?
2. Also my headlight when I plug it back in stays on, even though my board is turned off. It is also dimmer than my other light when it is turned on. Do you know why this is? Thanks for any help!
Hi i have seen your tutorial on youtube regarding logic board replacement, on mine wen u connect the screwdriver on the power connection nothing happens, but when i connect my charger it turns on and chargers and ont the actual logic board there is a led flashing but when u take charger out it turns off any advice please
open it up and make sure all the wires are connected, something similar happened to me and i found a wire was disconnected

Hi. I have one of these which spoilt after a day. It doesn't turn on when I press the power button. When I plug it in to charge, the green light on the board and charger flashes. Is the board the problem?
I got my swagway on November 18th. On Saturday, the 21st, I crashed mine pretty bad. The right side of the board turned all the way in a full rotation. It worked for a little bit after that but then it shut off eventually. I charged it for like 2 hours and nothing happened. It just won't power on. I later opened up the left side and a little metal bar popped out and I put it back in the center and then the right side was fixed. But it still won't turn on. I'm afraid to do exactly what yu do. Is there another solution for this?

I've been using mine since Feb and i was out of town and when i came back i thing a family dropped it. My hover board still works but the left wheel has started making a clinking noise anytime I ride it. It seems like a problem with the axle. Do you think I this is something I'll be able to repair? I appreciate any advise. I'll be back to report on my findings after taking my board apart.

hi looking to buy a part from you but im unsure if i need a new board or battery. had mine for a day it has two red boards on each side but doesnt have a large one like this video! the battery was getting low so i charged it for 2 hours and then i unplugged it .when i go to turn it on it lights up red on both indicators and then shuts off ! it says its fully charged but it wont work.
It sounds like You need a new logic board
Your board is double system
red board is not good.
Suggest you can buy green or blue board
Hey hoverboard one side won't work but there's one piece that I didn't see you work one all the wires are attached on mine expect one and the battery is fine I can't seem to find or see where to plug in the one thing

I've been debating whether to put the wires inside or outside the battery casing. If I put them outside the sharp edges of the battery casing might chew up the wires. If I put it inside the wires might deform the battery. Which is better?

Would it matter if I'm missing a screw on one of the transistor things that hold in the logic board? Cause I'm missing a few screws there, so could that be the problem?

I have some no-name board, it is just called Smart Balance Wheel, no model number, nothing - repair man sad it has burned transistors and so all the boards might need to be replaced because it is cheaper than try to debug it and then maybe discover more and more burned elements. It turns on for a moment and then immediately shuts down, it happened after its center axis broke and was repaired.

my logic board is different from your. what should i do?
Do these parts work for the 10 in. scooters as well? My issue is that the scooter turns off while riding with full charge.This happened a couple of times and it won't power on for 15 to 20 min. There are times that it wont turn on until I connect it to the charger. Could this be a battery problem?

Normally battery is 36v 4.0ah Your battery maybe is 2.2ah. Just change a new battery.
If your Airboard is double system.you can fix two battery. Rang will be longer than normal

Ok so maybe this question has been asked and even answered but i dont feel like searching so, i have a question. I was riding down a hill one day and when i got to the bottom of the hill and stopped, it jus flew out from under my feet. Without me even moving. Im pretty good on it so i know its not lack of experience. But now wen i turn it on the circle LED on top is flashing super fast but in green and neither on the front blue LEDs come on wen i step on it and it wont move. Rip?
+mrthugie1 sounds like your balance sensor are stuck in the down position causing the sensor to send a false reading to the motor,
+iRepairMD CZcams i took it apart and everything's okay. I think as far as the two things on each side that press in go. But its like its off and the green light on top is blinking so fast its almost constant

Its not hard to test the fets. Use a multimeter and check continuity from + power rail to each leg. If its shorted its blown. U can also check resistance. I think they should test around 5 or 8 ohm. Nowas for replacing them… its not that difficult teally just be sure to have a solder sucker and som wik as well as quality solder and iron. You can get them hot as hell without damaging them. First one i did took a long time to get out. And it got hot hot. It worked fine after as well as the surrounding components.

I was suppose to go to Atlanta so I put it on the charger cus I wanted it to be fully charged for my trip, anyway I went to work that night and forgot to unplug it.. Now it won't cut on.. Hello.. I tried to reset my airboard but at one point the red light would not come on instead it would stay green on top just the led on the right side would blink & just the right side work.. The left side had the led on (no blinks) & the left wheels has no sense.. What shall I do pls..

If you have a red flashing light on one side and it wont move and Recalibrate doesn't fix it... Check all plugs and wires are getting good connection (Especially the 5 wire sockets). If they are and it still don't move then it probly has a blown output fet on the side thats red. They're easy to change.. MAKE SURE BATTERY IS UNPLUGGED!! Measure the Mosfets, 6 on a heatsink per side(GDS)... Usually only 1 or 2 short... DMM to Diode, Neg on Center pin (Drain), Gate approx +1.5v, Source approx .5v. YST7575C crosses to RU6888R 68v 88a TO220 *** For the 12 Fet Mainboard Model, one bank of Fets controls one drive wheel. Do a continuity test to figure out what bank controls what side.. Each bank of Fets, are broken into pairs per thick drive wheel wire (YGB).. Use Different Colored Sharpies on the connectors before unplugging...

Bought a Hoover Board from Keystone Wizard April 2016, It stop working so I sent it back to them and no one was there to accept the UPS shipping so UPS left them a note to come and pick it up No one did,so I had to pay extra for the to extended the shipping. If the mother board is USD250 then it is not worth it, might as well get a new unit & cannibalize the old unit for parts for sale.
If you have a smart wheel with malfunction motherboard, you should contact your seller.

Your answer is as good as mine.
OK, maybe it could be, sometime, the assembler could be lazy or forgetful & left out the the missing screws.
When you open the casing & if there are no extra screws falling out, then it should not the cause.
