Single axle trailers and rear steers( unless you lock them off) are murder to reverse to start with but of course the " i know it all" with the camera has to ridicule. Better idea, get out of your car and help. Also, no comment from him about " no banksman". This might be the reason he only has 150 followers.
That poor sod was probably a brand new driver who only just got his license and believe me during HGV training you do very little reversing which is completely different in an artic to any other vehicle. Also these smaller trailer are notorious for being a nightmare to control.
Some people spend 40 years driving "heavy plant and roadtrains" up and down the motorway, others run round city centres with dinky trailers. I've done both and I know which is easier. The person I replied to deleted it, because he wouldn't last 5 minutes with a short trailer. Store deliveries has to be the worst job in transport.

Alot do respect lorry drivers. My partner is one and my dad was one. It's selfish inconsiderate drivers who believe their lives getting to the shops before they sell out of their favourite sandwich, who think their needs over ride everyone else's. Same types usually don't pull over also to let emergency vehicles pass. Sad world we live in.
Instead of trying to shame the driver maybe give some encouragement cz at the end of the day the food his distributing in the trailer is ending up on your plate. So stop the bullshit and start appreciating the effort and pressure it takes to be a HGV driver.
Obviously a driver without much experience, we've all been there. Probably his first time with a small trailer, they whip round so quickly with hardly any lock.
Ok he wasn’t the slickest but the muppet of the video is the camera car driver. Let’s see them try reverse that rig in there. Some truckers make it look easy but to the inexperienced the trailer can make a right ars of you. Especially when the likes of the camera car keeps edging towards you mid manoeuvre
They are too busy to wait as they are too important. They have a nail appointment or want to get to the shops for a meal deal before they are sold out of their coronation chicken sandwich. 😅
Reversing an urban isn't fun, especially when there's cars everywhere or it's blindside. This was probably a new driver so take your video and music and have go yourself.
Perhaps give a bit more consideration to the men and women who deliver your goods across the country, instead of putting useless videos this like on youtube.

Michael Macluskie maybe driver hasn't had his class 1 long I know when I started it wasn't easy but it seems apart from the police vosa other road users too many to mention the firm you work for etc etc what gets me more than anything is how HFCs drivers today criticise other drivers instead of helping each other I'm pretty sure you didn't land on this planet jump into a 'poxy' day cab and make no mistakes or misjudgements we know he's making it look hard but and everyone is entitled to there opinion but this is the trouble drivers don't stick together they are a as bad as the pricks who have never set foot in a truck and should remember we've all been there iam guessing you have been a Hgv driver for a lot of years and it's a fuking hard job at times I take my hat off to you but with foreign drivers taking our jobs and companies letting it happen I think it's time we stuck together lads made this manoeuvre look bad on other drivers held other road users up but let idiots who carnt and never will be able to do our job leave the negative comments mate
You run around in these little day cab Automatic shunters and still can,t go forward far less reverse, you should all have stayed in your Supermarkets operating your little battery shelf stackers.
Then how would food get in and out? Either way, I am a truck spotter and they are running fine when they pass me? Doing just under the speed limit? Did those one just brake the logic barrier or something then my friend?
Single axle trailors are what farmers reverse with, and if these plonkers can reverse then single axle trailors are the easiest to reverse. If you find that a single axle trailor is the most difficult to reverse then its time you hung up your suzy lines and retired back home with your grandma.
What the armchair experts fail to grasp is that these single axel urban trailers are actually more diffecult to reverse than a longer 2 or 3 axle one - the urbans juist don't seem to go where you want them. Supermarket unloading docks are designed to be just do-able.

They aren't allowed to unless they've been specifically trained to do so (& very rarely are).
@@stuartwaue6064 That's literally the whole point of a Backdoor assistant lmao
Atleast it is at Tesco
Send him to OZ to have a go on a roadtrain
its 22 shunt stan!
It is not so bad I have seen Masters who need over 30 minutes for a similar maneuver.
As usual cars going behind making it more difficult
I drive a Mercedes rigid n know this guys steering lock does not fit some traffic light junctions and although overall I may look shorter than an artic my axles are a good 6" further apart making it easier to spin a 40ft trailer n rig than my rigid ..... give him space n maybe get out n give him a hand?
Hi there, good to feature? With full credits of coursee!
8 metres are a bit of a pain
You've got no idea. That's Skellingthorpe, I'd argue he's approached it wrong but still people piling out the car park don't help
Just googled earthed that. Looks like a horrendous place to deliver. The Road Island adds a whole dimension of trouble on it's own
@neilmcdonnell2964 rubbish to deliver to as you need the drivers side car parking space empty otherwise your in there with people wanting to get out and are unable to.
Used to drive for coop admittedly they have some bad drops but they had some equally bad driver's
Yeah all the experts who havent got a clue maybe some help the trucker instead yes i know and yes i drive one fir a living you lot disgust me without him you get nothing so have some respect
Should have had a banksman and all them drivers should have got out of way and give him a bit more room
Another t1t with a dash cam .
When’s his test
Needs retraining
Could you back that thing in that gap, blind sided with a load of selfish inconsiderate Brits pushing their way out ??....didn't think so.
Nothing wrong with that. Not sure always stop and double check. Safety first
for all that say the driver is not very got those hotshot trailer are a pain in the arse to reverse
Instead of trying to shame the driver maybe give some encouragement cz at the end of the day the food his distributing in the trailer is ending up on your plate. So stop the bullshit and start appreciating the effort and pressure it takes to be a HGV driver.
Oh dear
Obviously a driver without much experience, we've all been there. Probably his first time with a small trailer, they whip round so quickly with hardly any lock.
People that criticize should come and have a go
Ok he wasn’t the slickest but the muppet of the video is the camera car driver.
Doesn't help with people recording
Reversing an urban isn't fun, especially when there's cars everywhere or it's blindside. This was probably a new driver so take your video and music and have go yourself.
I just can’t bring myself to comment . And yes that’s my comment btw
Tiny truck.. only one set rear wheels.. must be recently passed his class 1.. very nervous indeed and failed to get right positioning straight away..
Stop trying to embarrass people while they are working
:)))))
obviously a very inexperienced driver he made a real pigs ear of that
Perhaps give a bit more consideration to the men and women who deliver your goods across the country, instead of putting useless videos this like on youtube.
A little poxy day cab Scania with a 20 foot single axle trailor....the easiest to reverse in the World....something wrong with this driver why he can,t reverse this little toy.
'You're'
More Co-op rubbish crap driving ...0 out of 10
What the armchair experts fail to grasp is that these single axel urban trailers are actually more diffecult to reverse than a longer 2 or 3 axle one - the urbans juist don't seem to go where you want them. Supermarket unloading docks are designed to be just do-able.
