I got my braces at the start of may and it doesn’t hurt to get them put on but they ache after but then you just get used to them. You can eat most things after about 1-2 weeks but not hard/chewy things for obvious reasons. I am used to them now and can eat basically everything that I’m allowed. Good luck tt you will do amazing xx

Ice soothes pains .
Avoid eating anything hard for a week maximum.
So a liquid diet for a week (soup etc)
Avoid sticky sweets as they get stuck in braces.

I've had braces for six months and my advice is brush your brace often because it gets smelly and dirty easily! The brace kinda attracts the food to stick to it and also don't eat stuff like caramel of starburst as it will get stuck to it! Anyway love you Tiana!!!! #TTSquad
