Wow absolutely love your midfield suggestions. Playing regularly in a good Leeds side Lewis O'brien would turn into a £10-15M midfielder. Cairney gets promoted from the Championship every time he plays in it. He is technically too good for the Championship. Just hope the club is watching
Agree on Cairney, probably as a sub, he can affect games. Nothing to dislike here. Can't see Firpo or Kamara leaving but we defo need someone to compete with him in centre mid.

Leeds should be in for Chuba Akpom when he's made available in August. He's going to be put up for sale after Ajax play their 2 qualifying games! In August the transfer market is going to be very lively.
Agree with you about Cairney, Asprilla at Watford is attracting interest, apparently, from Prem teams with a price of 12-15? Whether that interest is real or not, I think that's worth a punt, especially if Summerville was to leave(if?).

Worst case scenario and scares me to death due to the non activity so far, is getting a couple of huge offers in very late in the window. Offers we cannot turn down and then not able to bring anyone in to replace them. So far so bad as we have already brought in just short of £60m in the last week and a half. We spent £10m of that but stupidly seem to be carrying on offloading players and not getting anyone in yet to take part in pre season and integrate…..

Yes, Albert Gronbakk from Bodø/Glimt. Probably the best midfielder in the Norwegian league at the moment.

Rennes like many other teams on the continent won’t offer what Leeds are asking .. seen something earlier where they have apparently offered kamara a contract 📑 well it’s ok doing that but if you don’t pay the right fee forget it 😅 🤷♂️

Don’t think Luton will sell/loan to a direct rival. Manning/o brien/adams/cairney would all be great. Not sure we’ll be getting a striker unless we ship out one of the strikers we have

I'd love Lewis O'Brien I watched the game against Middlesbrough and he looked fantastic only player I felt dominated our midfield . Loved the way he picked up the ball and drove the team forward.

We already need about 8 players, and there's absolutely zero movement so far. I think the 49ers are hoping to plug the gaps in the squad with u21s!
There are no boys in that u21 anywhere near good enough at this time apart from maybe crew as a bench option who i wouldnt be giving many games to
