You have really embraced this music in a true heartfelt way. You get it. I understand the emotion you feel. Spanish language music inspired me to learn Spanish many moons ago because it moved me and I just had to know what the songs were about. Learning the language through music also put me in line culturally. It opened up another world for me and I wouldn’t give it up for anything. I’m partial to Mexican artists but am a fan of so many others as well. I saw Juan Gabriel for the first time in 1979 or 80 at the Million Dollar Theatre in downtown Los Ángeles!

Este concierto fue en 1986, en EL PASO, TX. EUA, FESTEJABA 15 AÑOS DE CARRERA ARTISTICA. Fue un concierto impresionante, otra canción increíble fue la interpretación de QUERIDA, ES TREMENDO.

Because my uncle built the metal fence around Juan's house in Mexico we got free tickets, and we got to meet him! I grew up with his music echoing in our home everyday, nobody compares to him. I love that you have made videos honoring him, his voice, performance, and translating his lyrics. Because his lyrics were so beautifully written !

We dearly miss him! His vocal range was impressive! I attended this concert, I was 15 years old. I remember his vocal range would echo in the entire building. It would give me goosebumps every time, the audience would go crazy. I was blessed to attend his concerts many times in El Paso, Texas. Sister city of Mexican state of Chihuahua, simply known as Juárez, Mexico. Thank you for acknowledging his talent as a composer and singer. Much love from El Paso, Texas.
I think that concert was in 1986, when he completed 15 years of professional career. It was in El Paso, Tx. And there is another extraordinary video of that same concert where he sings Querida in an incredible way.
