      Classical Era-Mozart was inspired by
Baroque Era musicians like Bach, Handel etc.,
      and
Romantic Era Beethoven was inspired by all the artists including Mozart.
      In fact,
It's Baroque musicians, who ushered in the Beautiful Music World.

  • @garimellanagasivavenkatasa8073

Ilayaraaja had no match in contemporary south indian music. If anyone really wants to explore the beauty of ilayaraaja's music it's in his composition of folk music , rather than noisy composition of other music directors , his compositions are very melodious. This song is originally a folk music but what a beautiful composition it was!
Illayaraja compared with Mozart in creativity of the music , but Some people mistakes it as Mozart's style. As a lover of italian movies , I observed background music in some of the Italian movies resembles ilayaraaja's melodius music style.

Let us not argue what is what or which is better. This is what I take away from this experiment.
      a. Raja Sir is able to show that folk music and Mozart music have lot of similar patterns and very closely linked.
      b. Very similar to this, he had shown, how folk music and Thyagarajar keerthanai's (Indian Classical) are so close and one could evolve from each other.
      c. He has shown repeatedly that there is no point in fighting which is bigger, all music are same. People should learn to respect each music in its own form and its originality.
d.All the above statements proves his mastery in folk, Indian classical & Western classical and how each evolves and inspires from each other. How each music could be derived from each other.
So enjoy music guys. As ARR would quote later "Music transcends boundaries".

Lets not forget Mr V.S. Narasimhan was the lead violinist for Raaja in his early years . His knowledge of Western Classical must have played some part.

This is a beautiful INSPIRATION. Even Bach has influenced some of Mozart and Beethoven's Symphonies. WHY don't you ask your favourite music director to create a stunning, evergreen output like this?!

There has to be some darkness to appreciate light. So is the case some shallow lives are required to differentiate and appreciate the deeper and more meaningful lives. We live in a world where majority of the population compare to find what is best, coz very few know what is absolutely right. In the process of comparison some loose their path, they don't know what they are comparing. No worries it's just their loss, if god wills may be they will recover.

Do hear both versions, he fusioned classical folk with a Skelton of Mozart's piece, it's an inspiration.
