by the way, what Garfiel saw wasnt the kiss, it was the writings in the trial chamber. Subaru had no idea that garfiel would do his trial that day, but the facts are that garfiel went in and saw the writings before emilia did, and he could read how desperate subaru was xD

For those of you who don’t know, the cracking scene was Subaru’s gate dying. He can no longer use magic on his own.
“On his own” being the key words here.
Also, despite Subaru calling it “Invisible Providence”, it is the authority of Sloth “Unseen Hand” and is a very weak version of it because of his incompatibility with the sin, because Subaru is by no means slothful (similar to Petelguese).
And finally, once again, Patrasche proves she is best girl.
So to become stronger Subaru needs to become lazy? Where can I sign up for this? I'd easily get as strong as Sekhmet :P

You literally cant have much expectations that ANY route is the correct route, so when it actually does gets correct, its satisfying as hell.
That being said, still dont know about this particular route so my lows are still low.

I think that Echidna refers to Emilia that way only because she hates her, not as a "fact". Emilia answers that she is the frozen witch because that was her "nickname" when the events of Frozen Bonds OVA occur and she always hated it, but now is willing to take that name to confront Echidna. That's her resolve.
I mean Minerva could totally be her mom or in the most surprising of plottwists Echidna is her mom XD

It takes his entire being to use even one hand without being consumed by the witch factor. Plus his gate was already damaged. He shouldn't have used it. If he uses it 1 or 2 times more. His gate will be gone
A bit incorrect. His gate is already gone at this point. But Authorities are not magic, more like dark version of Divine Protections. He can use it without gate. Though, just like Geuse, he is incompatible with Sloth factor, so using it causes him existential suffering.

Use the Unseen Hand physically hurt the user. This is why Betelgeuse bite his finger or scream "it hurt, it hurt". Its because we try to ease the pain.
That's because both Subaru and Petelguese is incompatible with Sloth With Factor. Another reason why their power is weak.
Sekhmet doesn't have that problem because she is compatible with Sloth (she is too lazy)

for any who want to know, the crystal that both Garf and Fred have are a form of Mana collection stone that's primarily used as a Spirit Medium - it's a flawed and imperfect version of the type that Emilia had for Puck - and when Subaru stabbed Garfiel with it, it sucked up his Mana and forced his transformed state to return to his Human state.

And it's also the reason why Puck can temporarily use it as a hiding place to trick Roswaal, he's using the Mana stored up from Garf here in this scene to sustain him and why he can grow bigger.
BEST REACTION I have seen, gotta admit I almost cried at Garfiel's trial, overall this was a 10/10 episode and a 10/10 reaction 😁 Subaru's Unseen Hand totally unexpected 🤯
Though in WN he unconsciously used it once before when he got enraged at Gard for killing Ram and villagers in front of him.

The trials use the challangers own mental voice to project what the current trial is about. Just goes to show once again how much control Echidna holds over your mind while in the tomb.

Just something of note, the trial itself isn’t just constructed of memories of the person taking the trial. It is also constructed of extra knowledge that Echidna possesses. This is why Garfiel knows what happened to his mom and that is actually what happened to her. This is also why the events in Subaru’s second trial were most likely what would have happened after he died in those loops

What this and last episode didn't show was just how much internal damage Subaru was experiencing now that he could no longer be in the building, as he no longer had Echidna's permission to take the trial. Thankfully his gate is smaller than Roswaal, so he didn't take nearly as much as the clown man. It's crazy that Subaru had taken all that damage while talking to Emilia, and writing everything on the wall, and was still willing to fight Garfiel too.
I just can't help but think about how painful it'd be for Garf's mom to nurse them

People called Emilia the Frozen Witch/Witch of Frost, because they were scared of her. (And she lived in a snowy/icy forest).
She just accepted the title a bit. As far as we know she is no real witch.
But judging by additional factors (Race and Age - and for the second example: Looks) she could be the daughter of Minerva (Witch of Wrath) or Sirius (Sin Archbishop of Wrath).
Don't worry, this isn't a spoiler or something. Just a theory by some.
(I personally hope it's Minerva. Let's just say: Sirius isn't doing so good right now)
Next episode will show a lot of Emilias background. People are going to love it. =)
