But it is absolutely not nice when the person is genuinely trying to get a vibe with you and you're just flat out ignoring them without being honest with them in a civil manner is just impolite and needs to stop. Just be transparent, but don't be rude about it. It's that simple. Nobody is saying befriend the whole world. Not at all. But at least be honest when you don't want to instead of just ignoring people.
