I don´t get how the Demon Slayer movie got so huge when this and the Konosuba movie came out in the same year, and if you ask me they were both better
seriously just compare the animation, score, and the overall bad guy, MIA got Bondrewd while KNY got some meatloaf cgi

Bondrewd is THE 2nd best villain ever created and THE 2nd best character in all manga/anime (the 1st is obv Griffith).
Honestly I put him above Griffith, his goals are a lot clearer and logical, meanwhile Griffith´s wish is a lot more confusing and if you ask me straight up impossible
@@r.a.fgattaiguy845 It's easy though. Griffith always wanted to obtain a kingdom of his own and to be above everyone. Reminder that he was not a noble, had no title, money or anything of that sort. He just had a small army of mercenaries.
Berserk is in a way a battle of egos between Griffith and Guts, at least until the eclipse. Because from there, Griffith has pretty much achieved his goal, and everything that follows is just the completion of his "dream".
He isn't the second best villain but he is damn up there

characters: we know this guy is EXTREMELY suspicious. Let's sleep in his base. Oh no, we got EASILY captured, whoever could've seen this coming? Also, Riko climbing up the stairs, what could possibly go wrong?
I mean they don’t have a choice when the way to get to the 6th layer is in his base. Pretty sure they were just gonna try to get out of there as soon as possible.
Riko going up stairs makes sense, didn’t they say when she was born she tried to go towards the abyss? So ofc she would try to walk up there because of being attracted towards the abyss. Either way, nothing really happened with her going up there besides Prushka finding and then helping her after she got knocked out.
Tbh though, I just think they had no choice in the matter, they have to confront Bondrewd in some way to continue on with their adventure.
Only Reg got captured, I doubt they thought Bondrewd knew anything about Reg being a Aubade, considering he could only see through Nanachi’s eyes, and not hear. Still not too about Riko going up the stairs but I don’t have a problem with it because they have reiterated a bunch that creatures from the abyss are drawn to it, or just knowing about the abyss makes you curious. Must be a reason why everyone suicides in this thing for the sake of the future, because in real life I doubt we would keep on sending people into this thing just to try to collect some data. Atleast we wouldn’t send them so far down.
