  • Just my cycling training in the winter. It's painfull to pedal at -15 "C outside, so i improvised a HIIT training. I maganed to get a peak heart freq. of 193 bpm. I'l do this kind o training 3 times a week, 1 on 1 off and the weekends off.

you turn the workload level up once you're doing your 100% so your legs dont go too fast for the pedals, and it makes it more of a challenge, something ive picked up from experience and it works!

Great, but the bad thing of doing HIIT on these kins of bikes, is that when you push your 100%, the pedals and your legs moves very fast, which is not convenient because you lose control. This is the problem I just noticed with the bikes of my gym. It seems like the stationary bikes makers are not interested on people pedaling at 100% of their capacity. Yeap, we are the minority.
