Your vlog is one of the few my entire family watches! So refreshening view someone that is happy, successful, and funny! Thanks, Ryen!
Lisa Ahrendt Aww thanks :) That's nice to hear :)
Maybe consider getting a display case on the wall for your figures so then you have more space on your tv set to put stuff on
We had two corgis, loved them both. Lost them both last year within two months.
Gastby just make us smile and remember
My first video of yours was the starting of biocube, it inspired me to get a marine tank for myself, now just coming back and rewating the whole series again, 9/10 years later
amiibo collection almost complete! :D
Hey man. Been subscribed for a while, but I've been watching your vids back-to-back from a year or two ago for the past few days. Just wanted to say I love the vlogs and they've been a huge motivation for me in terms of exercise, productivity, etc. Thank you! Hope you keep it up.
I literally just subscribed, and I swear there is nothing I do not like about you! You are in the fish hobby, you gym like a boss, you a cute and geeky and just argh! Your awesome ❤
omggg and I forgot to mention corgys!
Aw man I hope you bring your bio cube back to how it was. It was beautiful. Maybe a bigger tank?
Ryen,
Thanks for the vlog. Love em!
Your one of the best vloggers out there!! Keep up the good work and keep these vlogs going!
great vid Ryen!
I don't know why i enjoy watching these vlogs but i do. Keep up the good work!
you seem to have such a kind personality :) i love watching your aquarium videos and of course Gatsby :D
wow such a good episode today! :)
Yass more vlogs I love these
I think you should put a shrimp in your tank, they will do well. Like the anemone
Gatsby is so lucky to have you 🐺🐺🐺🐺
Awww Gatsby is so cute!
Yeah! Dinovite! I always hear good things about that stuff. Hope it does wonders for "The Gat".
WOW! Hey do you have a skimmer with the bio cube? Just stick with the water changes man, I think you will bounce back. But I could tell from the salt creep that youve been busy. Do an LFS video, thanks
915Mang I don't have a skimmer... Yeah, I've been busy :P Gotta give the tank some TLC. I always get inspired when I stop by the LFS!
I'm currently dealing with Bryopsis myself, I'm doing all I can to fight.
Since you seem like a ridiculously busy person, I'd recommend 2 easy-to-perform tricks for wiping out Bryopsis.
1. Grab some Hydrogen Peroxide 3% (H2O2) and squirt 5ml a couple days a week on the Bryopsis itself.
2. Get yourself a Magnesium test kit and Kent Tech-M and raise your Mag to 1800-2000ppm over a week or so.
Just discovered your vlogs, awesome, luving the random dance interludes so cool and funny and that doggy is cool. Keep up the awesome funny vlogging.
Great video, nice aquarium.
If you use the sand from your old tank and get a new one (like a 10g cube from Innovative marine, or 20G from innovate marine) it will be done in 2 weeks and your corals will survive.
Also you can add a Yellow Clown Goby with a Pistol Shrimp. Awesome combo!
Try cycling the pump a few times to get all that gunk from the back chambers out BEFORE doing a water change. Also siphon out those back chambers, they get so nasty lol.
Thanks for the video! Whenever you post another one can you show your filtration system thanks
you mentioned you had a hair algae and bryopsis issue.. I had a serious issue with them where I would have had to dry everything out and start fresh. My rehab method started with blocking out natural sunlight. I also got on the band wagon of routine water changes. After that I used Kent Marine Tech M. I eventually took the rocks out and used a toothbrush on them. It has taken some time, but much needed time put forth.
Lol nice vid aquarium is coming along really nicely! 😜
I love your videos....and Gatsby😀
hope gatsby's paws are getting better! get well soon!
Handsome Gatsby!
Have you ever siphoned out the sand when doing a water change? Also if you haven't, you should be putting buffer and prime into your water after a water change at the least. Buffer will bring your ph to 8.3-8.4 which is ideal for a reef tank, and prime will neutralize any ammonia that is in the water after stirring up the sand. Other chemicals for corals would be calcium ions. These are all seachem products in white bottles. Running carbon in your tank is also good because it pulls out organic wastes from the water that would build up from fish poop.
Your tank still looks good though!
I love your videos
Lol i love how u love target. I work there and all the deals u see around the grocery area i put up :)
Chris BH Haha nice dude!
Yaaaa a vid
Hey bro I saw you there that day lol, i'm starting a 10g myself... keep up the good work!
You have to do the tim tam slam!!!!!!
YO RYAN! You must try out the Tim Tam Slam!
Raskol apparel 👍
Have you considered a neon goby? They’re not allowed here in Australia but sound like they would be a fun nano fish. Also a kenya tree coral would look really cool in there :) Waiting for the day you finally crack and upgrade your aquarium :p these vids are how I found your channel; I still love keeping up to date with everything else but miss your whole aquarium phase!
Watchman goby and pistol shrimp pair!!
I was watching the great gatsby when I was watching this
Hyrule Warriors is hella fun! It just gets frustrating on some levels sometimes haha
Get a spotted goby for the tank or blenny to eat the algea
Hey man. How many meals do you eat a day? Given your work out and stuff. I just subscribed. Keep up the good work!
My 3&1/2 month old Beagle is having really bad allergy problems atm, he was itching constantly so the vet put him on a prescribed diet in case its a food allergy. I would really like to hear how effective that Dinovite product is though. Thanks Ryen!
I like your aquarium
I love your videos!!!!!! I watch them all Fay not being weird tho.... I am getting a corgi and its going to be named cooper so can you post Like a video about how gastbe ( sorry if I spelled his name wrong ) does and how he acts and how you trained him please!!!! VlogAfterCollege
you need alot of blue leg hermit crabs!
u should buy pre cycled water
I'm so in love with Gatsby lol however I'm really worried about leaving him in the kitchen while you leave? Because most fires start in the kitchen and if something short circuits in the kitchen and Gatsby can't get out then that's obviously not good. Why not put him in a kennel?
I wish I lived near Neptune aquatics so I could meet you :(
I always watch your episodes! You should upgrade to a slightly larger tank! =)
Your a cool person rien
Hey, try a lettuce nudibranch for the bryopsis
Paandemonium I'm looking for them. No store carries lettuce nudibranch since they said they die so easily (getting sucked in the powerhead). You got me researching about them. Does your LFS have them?
They should be pretty hard to find in your neck of the woods since they are from Haiti. I actually work for a wholesaler and we supply most shops around us with them. They do a good job in my opinion, I had one in my 80 gallon and he ate all my algae in about 3 weeks and then I sent him to my friend's tank to continue working. If you're worried about it and a powerhead just try those sponge covers, they work pretty well. They look super cool and eat like beasts lol
your my favorite
What do you do for a living? Your in the technology field?
MOAR uptades
Tim tam slam! Bite one corner of the Tim tam, and the opposite corner diagonally, and stick one corner in a hot drink like hot chocolate, or coffee, and then just before the Tim tam starts to break apart, put the whole thing in your mouth! Tim tam slam! Kinda like you using a twizzler as a straw :)
Can you buy a 20 gallons then after doing it you can send your fish to the new tank
Can we get an update on this tank? :D
Its time to upgrade Ryen. Get a 40 breeder tank!
Hi Ryan what lighting are you using in your fish tank?
Tim Tams are from Australia! Represent :)
do you have stock lighting and filter pump??
Wat happened man, I remember when the tank was amazing, but the clownfish do look happy 😃
what happened to the other 2 fishes and the majority of the corals?!
Do you still have the goby
What is that song that was used near the out and also another time in the video
you need to consider upgrading to a larger tank.
What is the song when he hit the gym?
please feature your tank in the next video:)
lol ive got fish water in my mouth so many times.
I Love fish
My corgi takes Zyrtec. That might help?
that dog powder looks like weed man lol
what was the song playing when you were showing the aquarium one last time?
What's that white thing on the aquarium?
nice tank but you got a bit of an algae problem on your hands my friend haha
Are you sure you brought home Gatsby and not that other dog?
Are you living around around Santana Row? I just got my little corgi for a week. Maybe we can let them play with each other:)
so hi.. about those timtams, if you are going to eat timtams then you need to learn about the timtam slam... best way to eat timtams.. :D
omg man what happened to ur aquarium it was so great now its full of algae!!!
Question
What is your job?
Hey ryan can you recording how gatsby eats he's dog food ?
bruh
What kind of grammar is that
8:56 there are 2 Gatsby ???????
I saw Ryan
dang he is ripped
Hey Ryen, you should check out the Kinda Funny CZcams channel. Greg over there does really funny Oreo reviews.
What happened to potle runs??
TheBomb inMinecraft Haha, I still go on them :P
👍👍
Hey I'm a new subscriber! I know you work out, I just wanted to know what exercise you would recommend for me. I do mostly cardio, but I want to gain more muscle. Any advise for a beginner?
Almendra Reyes I'd work on the larger muscles first (like Back, Legs, and Chest). Once you have those developed, the others will come with time. Good luck!
Hmmm alright I'll try that and see how that goes. Thanks!
I have to say, IM PRETTY DAMN JEALOUS OF YOUR COLLECTION
What camera and editor do you use
Canon powershot g7x and final cut pro x :) he has a video about his camera and he mentioned his editor
You should invest in a larger aquarium!!
Are there any fish that can go in a 7.5 gallon tank
Would it be your first tank?
Dan Bradshaw depends if it's fresh or salt.
Gatsby lol
In the car, when you were heading to the aquarium store, I realized that your teeth were completely white! Basically my question is, what do you use for taking care of your teeth and how?
Dayton Do Haha, I brush them :P It might help that I don't drink coffee.
I don't think it's the coffee that causes teeth to yellow, haha. Teeth are usually/naturally yellow. Are you using tooth-whitening tooth paste?
About the coffee, yes it does make your teeth turn yellow, like freaking yellowish brown if you have it worse. My sister is a coffee addict and her teeth were horrible, it only got better when she started brushing after drinking coffee.
His head is really turning brown ;p
salt water tank vs fresh water tank?
Ohboy300 Saltwater has cooler fish and coral but is a whole lot harder to maintain (and requires a lot more knowledge and money). I'd go for Saltwater if you like the challenge ;) Saltwater is BOSS.
VlogAfterCollege I love both freshwater and salt equally. An Asian arowana is BOSS!
Saltwater for the Winn
