Very well done! It looks so good! This is actually one of my favourite Phantom looks. The film is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

I never liked the interpretations of Phantom where he was just a normal guy until deformity happened and he just caught the crazy out of nowhere. Without the whole lifetime of being deformed he is just a crazy ashole with no possible redemption. But this makeup was extremely well done, just like every other one you've made so far.

I agree Mihovil. In the novel, 1925 version & the Broadway musical, he was deformed at birth. Also, it gives him more of an air of mystery!

Though in fair the decline mentally is done via his being overlooked, degenerative illness which will take his one career away etc. It does happen to fast but they try to show it's the straw that broke the camels back of a poor man always overlooked

Yes!! I've been waiting for this tutorial for a long time! Well done! I feel like this makeup effect can work well for anyone wanting to cosplay as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

I have a permanent scar on one cheekbone from rigid collodion. I had a tiny bit that did not clean off properly and it ground into the pores and burst them. Permanent brown mark on my face.

Lindsay, would you say that the makeup that Gerard Butler wore was somewhat based off of what Claude Rains wore?

Acid burn? In the book, Erik (The Phantom) was born deformed.

As stated in the video, this recreates the 1943 movie rendition, where the Phantom is burned by acid. It is not a Leroux makeup.
